This chapter actually made me tear up a bit. I really feel like that that's how Max feels about leaving Pitt. About him and Sloan however, made me tear up more because from previous stories you've had up with them in it and to see that their relationship is going downhill is just so saddening. I love it though, I love every emotion shown in this story and I absolutely can't wait for the next update :)

As much as I want Tanger to be in the story, I still pick Engo to be the "threat" haha

Love this. Either if it is engo or tanger, I will be happy with either one.

Using Tanger will open up a door of many opportunities to go along with the storyline. Max will have to question his trust within everyone.

I love these 2 together, hate to see them split up! Great update by the way!

My vote is still for Kris but the other posters are right - there aren't enough Deryk stories out there. Both guys are totally under the radar. Great start to what I know will be a fantastic story!

Nooooo Max don't be done with Sloan! Don't leave! You both just need to get together and hug it out, scream it out, something. I don't want them to be apart. I love them together too much.

I feel so bad for the both of them. It's so obvious that they are hurting and they don't want any of this to go down. Can I hug them both? I still hate the idea of them being apart but I am really excited to see where it goes. I loved chapter two! I can't wait for the next chapter! :D

I definitely am voting for Tanger or Engo. I think they would work best.

I am a huge Max fan and so excited for this story!

My first choice would be Sex Hair (aka Letang) but I also like Engo...def not enough stories about him. It's a win win with whoever you go with!

You've done it again, another great story in store for all of us :D I'm pretty excited to see the next chapter. It was well written and I can actually imagine Max feeling the way he's feeling about moving to Philly and all. As for Max being traded, the moment that I heard he had turned down the offer in Pitt, I knew that the next couple of weeks or days were going to be horrible. I was a bit emotional knowing that he would become a Flyer instead of a Penguin. He will forever be a Penguin of course :) I just wish things were different in the whole trading department.

So anyway, picking one out of the three men I would have to go with...well the first person that immediately chose was Adsy. But I took a minute or two to actually think about this and went with Engo. I feel like that's somewhat a big "surprise" to Max that someone like Deryk is movin' on in with his wife, hahahah :P

I'm voting Kris! He always seems like the quiet, "one least to be expected" kind of man (obviously not in hockey fights) and I think it would definitely be a blow to Max's ego if it were to be Kris. Adams and Engelland are great choices too, but I vote Kris :)

I am all for Deryk being the bad boy in the story. Swooping in and being all knight in shining armour.
There aren't enough fanfics about him, and like Max he is a bit cocky :)

I really like this so far!! I was so sad when Max got traded, I'll always be a fan of his, but I feel like he just fit in so well in Pittsburgh. But then he had to do what he had to do I guess.

As for the threat? I think it should be Tanger! Everyone always makes him out to be so quiet and demure and super sweet…I think it would be interesting to see him as sort of the bad boy in a story. I could totally see him being all sweet and kind to Sloan while she's vulnerable like this behind Max's back while he's in Philly.

Can't wait to read more of this!!

Oh my gosh I loved the first chapter. I feel so bad for both Max and Sloan. I don't like this Sloan living in Pitt and Max in Philly business. The both of them need to be together forever and ever. I can't wait to see where this goes and what goes down. Max's life with the Flyers is definitely going to be an interesting one.

Letang would be the perfect part. By now we all know Sloan is into the dark handsome Frenchmen. Whose to say Kris doesn't qualify? She's also been near him countless times due to his friendship with her husband. He'd also be the perfect revenge on Max.
Can't wait until the story gets rolling!

I like the twist you take with this, I was wondering who everyone in Max' surroundings was going to react to this...

Kris would probably be the biggest "slap in the face" for Max, because they're so close and stuff
Engo and Adams would just plain rock
