I like how you started the story. I was honestly expecting it to start with her already knowing him and already being with him but the fact that there's an entirely different back story is great.

I'm really hoping that you don't make Daniel out to be some type of villain, just because that's an obvious move. But if you do, that's up to you, that's just my point of view.

Her kids are so sweet and I can already tell she's an amazing mother. And a hard worker at that!

Her meeting Jimmy and how they started talking was sweet, but I wish you had given us more detail and let us see how that conversation went. It would give a lot more depth and a better view of how their relationship is forming and how it will go, if you know what I mean.

Overall I think this story has amazing potential and I think you're doing great with it. Good luck with it and I hope you finish it!

Summary:
I absolutely loved what you did with the summary. The roses thing is something I've seen before and I would just die if someone did that for me! The summary doesn't really tell too much, but it's a cute little excerpt that made me excited to keep going.

Chapter One:
Zara and Felicity sound like sweethearts! I'm not sure how to feel about Daniel yet, or what kind of trouble he could potentially cause. I do, however, appreciate the fact that Faye works at a hospital. It's something I don't see a lot of in fanfiction- or stories in general.
Jimmy is so flirtatious. Wow.
I have to admit that I really didn't like how fast they moved with things. They had only spoken for half an hour and he was already acting like a lovestruck idiot. I can see younger people doing something like that, but not people in their late twenties.
I do hope the date goes okay with them, and I hope Jimmy treats the twins kindly.

I saw a few mistakes littered throughout the story, but there was nothing too major and it didn't detract me from anything I was reading. The flow was okay, though slightly choppy in some places. I would recommend giving this a quick edit. Other than that, I like what you've got going thus far. Well done.

This is so cute. Let me start by saying I don't read fanfiction BUT it helps that I know Avenged so I'm happy about that. XD
The summary was really light but telling as well, revealing who the match was between and what the story was about without revealing everything the story is about.
I really loved how light hearted the first chapter is. Its shows how Faye is a good mother and a devoted (soon to be) doctor and it also shows that Jimmy is more than a dummer band guy. Faye thoughts to herself had me cracking up because it reads so easily into the story. The story flows so well and you have a great way with description. I'm gonna recc and subscribe to this story because I need to remember to finish reading it all.

Okay so where have I been the entire time this story has been taking place? Because, I freaking love it and haven't moved since I started reading it!

Okay I'm going to start out by saying that I'm not very big in the Avenged Sevenfold fandom, but I do read some every now and then. I love the summary for this story. It's very alluring and makes me want to read the story which is very good.

I also love the opening of the story it's very interesting, and I really like it. I'm glad that it just keeps getting better as I read further along in the story. This is really amazing.

I love the detail you put into the story which is something that I love in stories. I can really get the characters and what's going on in the story. I love the story.

It’s always tricky to date people with kids… On one hand, the boyfriend/girlfriend of the parent should have some authority (if the relationship is serious), but, on the other, he/she is not the parent, so there should be an understanding of how the parent wants to educate the kids…
Anyway, I hope he doesn’t do anything stupid… And they really need to talk about their relationship and Jimmy’s role in the education of the kids… As peaking of difficult conversations, I think Faye and Daniel need to talk about Jimmy… Daniel needs to understand that Jimmy is important and not just a fling… Like, he’s there to stay…
On a different note, I’m very happy to give you random ideas and have gutter parties with you!

I think that would be the hardest part of dating someone with children, or being a step-parent. I couldn't do it. That aside, I have to agree with Faye on this one. He should always consult her. She's the mother. The end. It really is that simple. But I agree with KillJoySynner and HerNameIsAlice -- I really hope Jimmy doesn't do anything rash. He needs to go out, calm down, then come back and discuss this like an adult.

I'll give you a real comment later this week/weekend... Right now, I'm just gonna virtually squeeze you cause you got me emotional with that author's note...

The smut scene was really well written, in my opinion. Faye’s awkwardness could be felt and it wasn’t this amazing stuff, like some people write. I think that someone who’s doing it for the first time can’t do it perfectly, and some authors write every smut scene as this amazing unrealistic event! I’m happy you didn’t, and I’m also happy Jimmy didn’t lie to her.
And you ended the chapter with cuddle time! Jimmy is so sweet! I loved how he teased her about her favourite part of the movie and then just sang it to her! And he said he loves her!

This is really different than any other fan fic I've ever read. I really like it and I really like your writing style. Also how well you expressed how much Jimmy and Faye feel to each other, its soo cute.

That was an amazing update. Faye went into action when Jimmy collapsed. I was literally on the edge of my seat hoping he'd be ok. I can't wait for the next update honey, I hope the surgery is a success.
