I like the idea of showing how being a groupie is considered a profession for people. It's definitely a concept that isn't brought up on the daily basis, so kudos for making this a one of a kind story. I really also enjoy the fact that Audrey Kitching the title photograph, she's amazing and such a beautiful human being inside and out. I highly recommend your story for a good laugh and especially if you are in search of something unique and outside of the box.

Great job! I liked how your story switched from being very light-hearted and comical in the first chapters to much darker and more serious later on (though it definitely had funny parts all the way through). Chapter 27 especially stood out to me - looking at the other comments that seems to be the general consensus - and I adored it because you take slut shaming to town and portray Candy as a bystander rather than a savior, which is hard for most writers. Keep up the good work! It's a great story.

ohmygod i just started this and i don't think i've ever laughed that hard in my life. Candy Marcs is just the epitome of being a fabulous bitch and i love it! the chapter about staying silent was one of my favorites, even though it wasn't a funny one it addressed something that probably hits close to home for a frw readers, and candy addressed it well, with grace. anyways, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update this soon because this is amazing ahahah.

That was some pretty raw stuff in chapter 27. :( It's so sad that Candy had to go through that, and witness her friend and all go through that as well. That poor girl. Abusive relationships are hard for people to come out of. Like, you didn't really say this as much with the situation talked about, but it can also be tough for the abused because they're having the conflicting feeling of loving the person they're with but also hating them, because when the person they're with isn't being abusive, they can be sweet to them. Which sounds kind of sick but that can be how those relationships work too. But maybe Candy's friend was dealing with that too. But it's so sad when the victims can't get out of those situations, and they end badly. :(
And as for chapter 28, aha, whoops. :P That situation kind of worked out positively for her, though. It could've been worse. She could've saw more hate than love, but she didn't. But hey, everyone loves Candy. ;) She seems like a very unique person, so those who hate her are lame and pathetic. I'd defend her if I ever crossed one of her haters. :P

I like how we got a look at what kicked off Candy's career as a professional groupie and how she admits that, even though she's amazing, even she got a little nervous when the big musicians started calling. It makes Candy seem more real than ever. Also, have I mentioned that the way she words her advice crack me up? Candy is golden, I swear.

I'm crying so badly about this chapter.

I was sexually assaulted only two weeks ago now and this really hit home. I've also been in seriously abusive relationships in the past (never date someone who works in a prison).

I feel bad for Candy for having to see such a thing. I imagine that while seeing what became of her friend and the boy she was seeing hurt, that knowing she was unable to do anything to stop him from hurting others hurt even more. I'm glad he basically fell of the face of the earth after that. It's nice that there's a chapter about standing up for and keeping yourself out of harm's way as a groupie. This chapter, while sad, was excellent.

That story is so sad. :( I feel so bad for Candy and how she had to deal with something like that...Horrible, horrible, horrible.
