How didn't I know this had been updated?!?!?!

all those fucking blog posts that people post about their damn surveys and nonsense cluttered my "my mibba" page and I hadn't seen that this had been updated!! And I was going on your page because I wanted to reread the story and then I noticed that there was another chapter and UGH! I'm so annoyed right now! SO ANNOYED! I hate all the blog posts. I just want story updates that's it. I don't even read peoples blogs and they crowd my page and just - ah! Sorry, I just really hate that aspect of the new mibba layout. The good news is that I know now you updated! I'm now going to indulge with some iced coffee, and read it :)

And my goodness, what an update!
What I would give to have been able to go on that tour with them. It sounded heavenly! All the books, the art, the sculptures! Oh, if I could get some coffee going and some scones, I could lose myself there for days at a time, maybe even a week.
I absolutely adored this chapter. I'm already developing a soft spot for Cécile, but my heart has truly been taken by Arnaud. That speech he gave at the end, the way he said that books are so much more than just words, they are culture, they are feelings, they have lives and worlds to share and I just – ah! That had me nodding along like an idiot, because I just agreed. I wanted to applaud him and then applaud you for writing him!

So very worried that Rufus had fucked up and gotten them lost or that he’d been beaten so badly that his memories weren’t working all that well, but he’s fine!
HE TOOK THEM TO THE LIBRARY!
AH!! I was honestly freaking out when they went into the house and it wasn’t nice, and it was all shady, but of course, that’s how it should be so that no one takes much notice of it (I can’t believe I was expecting grandness, that was stupid on my part), but them going underground and finding the books and the sculpute there, and the light and ambiance! Oh! I'm fangirling over here! I surely feel like Belle must’ve felt when the Beast first took her into the grand library.

Awe I'm sad to hear this story isn’t going to be finished until late April, but I'll be excited to read the next chapters you have, and to wish you a very happy birthday on the 29th :)

Hey hun. I read this quite some time ago but couldn't remember where I'd got up to and whatnot, so here I am, starting from scratch and having just read the first chapter, I know why I would've loved it so much before! What a PERFECT start to a story. Incredibly intriguing; it pulls you in right from the first sentence. I love the mystery you've conveyed about such a terrible situation; you've not given too much away but I know it must be awful to live that way. Seriously, stunning! I'm soooooo sorry I let this story slip. Can;t wait to get right back in the thick of it.

I worry for them! They're traveling for days on end and its getting colder and colder. What if it starts to snow? What could they possibly do then? How would they survive? Ah! I just really want them to reach the library soon so that they can be safe and Rufus can fully recover!

Chapter Thirty:

I wanted Oliver to go with them, to run off, but no, no he had to go home to wait for parents that would never go home, but what made me cry – and I'm not exaggerating, I seriously had tears in my eyes and got all emotional and had to blow my nose – was when he asked Aimée if she would give him a hug. AHHH you just can’t write things like that, you can’t! You left me all teary eyed and I just wanted to somehow jump into the story and hug him and take care of him and ugh . . . I'm a mess! An absolute mess, and it’s all your doing!



I'm worried about them walking that distance by themselves. Rufus is still very much injured and Daniel is blind, and it’s getting colder, and I am just so worried about how the trip to the library is going to go! AH! They just have to make it there fine or else I’ll cry some more! OLIVER!! I still haven’t gotten that. Probably never will, but I’ll hold out hope, somehow, someway, they’ll be a family!

Those pricks! Who do they think they are to take the law into their own hands?
There’s enough military patrolling the area! They sound like they’re everywhere, and yet the extrememly wealthy form these little committees for added protection. It’s because they know it’s not right to be that well off while so many people are going without out. they’re afraid of a rebellion and losing their control bah! I'm upset at them, and wanted to write how upset I was before I start to gush, because OMG I'm just seeing rainbows right now!!



He’s alive! And he sent Oliver to find her! And he’s alive!!
I'm furious that he was so badly beaten, but he’s alive, and they were reunited right away. And I'm just so happy for them, so very happy, it might not have been one of those overly lovey dovey reunions, but it was perfect! Absolutely perfect and true to the characters. And she loves him . . . oh, she loves him! I’ve got this massive grin on my face now and I'm fairly certain that I’ll wake up with it in the morning. This is fantastic, truly fantastic!
And Oliver – I love him!
He’s just so adorable and perfect and I love how he talks, and in my mind, they are somehow going to adopt Oliver and be a happy family, and no one’s going to convince me otherwise!

They were so happy, so very happy together, and in love, because I’ve been fangirling over them for quite some time, and now . . . now he’s gone off somewhere, and he’s probably hurt and hiding or maybe he’s been caught and they’re torturing him because they think he might be some sort of rebel, and I'm losing my mind over here thinking of what’s going on with him, and what’ll happen to her when she goes off in search of him!

I just really loved this update. I got angry at the way the well off enough people were living, strolling and shopping while there were people out in the same country starving and being oppressed and hunted down and . . . I got heated, very much so. And I hope that very early in 2013, there will be an update!

Ah! I have so much to comment on! What to begin with?!
I have decided that Aimée and Rufus will be the end of me!

I just wanted to smack them when they weren’t talking to each other.
I understand why they weren’t, it was a very “them” thing to do, but ahhh the torture of having them be awkward and silent and tense. it just had me going crazy!
And then them with Emilie, and being so fucking awkward there. I felt her pain of wanting to know why they were acting like that!
But then Daniel came into the picture, and be still my heart, I do love that man!
But his past :(

How could his own mother order the arrest?
That broke my heart! The reach that the government has to turn mothers against their own children that they carried and gave birth to. ahh Daniel! I want to give him a great big hug!
And I want Aimée to give Rufus a great big kiss like Daniel proposed she should haha
