Awwww! Dang it! I literally just finished Scream and im dying! This is one of the best AX7 stories I've ever read... Shit, it's one of the best stories I've read period. Sadly, I only read stories that are finished for the purpose of my sanity. Best believe I will be checking in every now and then to see.

No, Nightmare is not finished yet, it's just taking a bit long to update because I've had writers block and no inspiration.

So happy accident happened a few days ago. I stumbled across this story. And now I h e completed all 159 chapters to day!

I am so in live with this story I want to have its story babies. I've cried, laughed, cringed and just oh my god. I'm not normally one for Brian stories but this one is beyond superb. I will probably read it over and over again! Thank you for being a truly gifted author and sharing this story with us!!

I anxiously await the next update whenever you are able to post it!

Haven't even started this sequel yet. But I just finished reading Scream, and I loved the story. I have no doubt in my mind that this sequel will be at all disappointing. Love your writing style, it's amazing. I know I'll be flying through this story so I anticipate the updates :)

I'm not even going to comment on the chapter, it was great though I'm just gonna say; lack of confidence in writing? Hun, you're such an amazing writer. I mean just the way you explain things in this, writing detailed without it getting boring and it paints up this awesome imagine in my head is probably one of my fav things about your writing. Also your imagination and everything similar, omg, I still can't phantom how you're still up for writing a sequel for such a long prequel!? I mean it's ridiculous so if it takes time, I understand. I mean the seven wonders of the world weren't built in a day or a week ;)

Also on a sidenote; no matter how psychotic Matt is in this story, it just makes him a hotter bad boy =) He needs some spanking that I'll happily deliver :)

I about lost the plot when you wrote "nope myself off of this planet." That is one of the best things I've ever heard. And I so very seriously love and appreciate the effort and time you took to give me such an in-depth and detailed comment. Thank you so much. To know my work has reaped such emotion is heart-swelling(that is totally a thing now.) I only ever wanted people to feel my work, to get swept up and lost in it and to have an escape from the everyday, to have a place they can go to where they are all "what next?" So thank you for everything you've said, for such kind and thoughtful words, this really means a lot to me. I hope you continue to enjoy my stories and I hope I continue to write in such a way that you are not disappointed or let down. Again, from the heart, thank you so much! Hug

Where do I even begin? Jesus Christ.

Well, I came across Scream after seeing it rec'd in my newsfeed several times over the span of a few months. I clicked on it, saw 100 chapters and thought, "Damn... that's a long story." But then I saw the number of comments and thought, "There must be something good about it, though." So after being tempted for weeks, I subscribed. It sat in my subscriptions, untouched, for quite a while. Finally, I gave it a chance and from chapter one... hooked. I was absolutely hooked just from the way you write alone, had nothing to do with the plot yet. I'm picky about writing style and I rarely get past the first paragraph before leaving. You nailed it from the very beginning and it only got better from there.

I knew I was in for an emotional roller coaster but once I started, I couldn't stop. I'm here, let's go. mrgun

As a Gates gal myself, I went into this thinking it would be strictly a Matt story; she would meet and fall in love with this murderer right off the bat, as always. Needless to say, it was a pleasant surprise when Brian's character showed himself and his relationship with Jess began to form. I was totes like aw yiss, this needs to be a thing, make it a thing. Weird

The love triangle drama was ace. It wasn't your typical battle for the hot chick, it was literally life or death. Brian being portrayed as the heroic knight with a dark side while Matt is depicted as the psycho obsessed killer, perfection. This isn't the first time I've read a story with similar roles, but you took it to a whole new level that cannot be touched.

It takes a certain writer, a certain talent, to make me cry while reading their work and I've shamelessly bawled several times throughout the first book, as well as the sequel. Kudos. Major kudos. All the details that tied together in ways I didn't expect, all the characters that were carefully developed and introduced, so good.

I love that Jess isn't the damsel in distress and refuses to be just that. She kicks ass, she can hold her own, she's a great mother, and her bond with Brian gives me butterflies. They are too perfect for the world. I ship it 5eva. But, understandably, Jess is going to have her weaker moments. It kills me that Brian is so helpless at the moment... or is he?

    Brian. Brian. Brian.
Lord have mercy, where can I get me one of those? tehe

Don't even get me started on him and Nathan... the cutest father/son relationship I have ever—hold on, I need a minute.

    Okay, I'm good.

Nightmare has really pulled at my heart strings. I'm hurting for the little guy being forced into this life, not knowing what the hell is going on while being torn away from his father all because of Matt's crazy ass. He's so smart for his age and a total mini Brian. The image alone is killing me. Speaking of killing, I do wonder about Matt's comments of Nathan turning out like Syn. Nathan is so adorable and blissfully unaware. It's hard to picture him growing up into a monster. I would like to think you aren't cruel enough to let him die in the hands of Shadows (or any other way, for that matter) because I will actually NOPE myself off of the planet. The scene with him drowning in the pool and the miscarriage was enough. Can't handle anymore. He has to make it and so does Brian and so does Jess. Cry

There're a lot of specifics I've skipped but I'd be here for days if I talked about everything that stuck out so far. Johnny's relationship with Gaia, Zacky and Calliope, Reaper and Hera, it's all so perfect. THE RUSSIAN MAFIA, WHAT THE FUCKIN' HELL? I'M SO DONE. WHY ISN'T THIS A MOVIE?!?!?!?!?!?! I would give my left arm to see this unfold on the big screen! I can visualize it perfectly in my head and it would be fucking EPIC. Twitch

I am saddened that I'm all caught up and I have to wait for updates now. But no rush. I completely understand the need to take your time. From the first chapter of Scream to where you are now, I can tell that you put a lot of thought and planning into the plot, as all writers should but unfortunately don't. I've been reading a7x fanfiction religiously for seven years now and I'm not over exaggerating when I say this is the best Avenged story/series I have ever read.

I'm so on edge, about to fall out of my seat because it scares the living day lights out of me and I have no idea what's going to happen. People are going to die, I'm sure, but who?! You've made all of the characters lovable in their own way, yes even Matt and Rev, and I don't want anyone else to go. I want Jess and Nathan to be safe, of course, and if they could just invite Matt over for a little tea party and settle their differences, that would be great.

In the meantime, I'll be waiting as patiently as I can for the next chapter. Please excuse this ridiculously long comment, but I'm excited. Stories this incredible never seem to cross my path and when they do, well, I tend to freak. Just a tad.

Jess and Matt! Jess and Matt! Clap

Oh my gosh. I hadn't even noticed you updated until today. And when I saw '13 says ago' I nearly had a heart attack! I loved the update, like I always do. And I think we both know I love Jatt Wink

I'm so excited to see what lies ahead, especially after the newest chapter! I wonder how Nathan is reacting to all of this, and if he's okay! Oh gosh, Brian has no clue. Oh my goodness. Matt's going to have his way with her and Brian won't have any idea what's going on. Conflicted feelings! I love Jatt but Bress is great, too!

You're the worst, really. Messing up my emotions like this. Grr

Being that you posted this at 4.30am and you totally stroked my wounded ego, you are most certainly forgiven for "not getting to the point." I love long comments, no matter how "sfbgiubhwrougbwrg" they get. They're always amusing and interesting and they always give me the warm and fuzzies. Thank you so much for reading my work and for enjoying it, it's all I strive for with my work, that someone will enjoy it and have such "efubigeujg" feelings for it. And don't you worry, Matt won't be going away anytime soon tehe
