So, I just read Illusions and the first five chapters of this all the way through and I absolutely LOVE it so far. I'm not the biggest Crosby fan, but you're writing style is amazing and this is really interesting. I like the relationships you've established so far between all the characters. I would love to see some more interactions with the Flyers players, especially Talbot and Giroux. I can't wait until you post the next chapter! :)

For some reason, I did not get my notification of the new chapter - but I am glad I found it.

I am really hoping that it is Sid that is calling - they really need to sit down and talk things out. No, it wont be easy, but the things worth most in life never are. Like I said before, I feel there is a real connection between Sid and Loren - they both just have to decide life is better together than apart.

I do love Geno - and how proctective he is - and Kris is great but Sid is the guy for Loren

I love this story - it is truly one of my favourites. Your writing is clear and concise and your characters are multi-faceted. I love Loren and the fact that she has a lot going on in her life. She is an independent woman who is trying to make it in this world the best way she can. And I like the fact that she doesnt go all "fan girl" on Sidney - or the other players for that matter. But I am glad she is coming to the realization that she is in love with Sidney. Not Sidney Crosby the hockey player, but Sidney, the flawed individual that she was thrown together with because of her job, but learned to appreciate who he was and what he went through.

I wish that Sidney would fight more for Loren. He realized some time ago, that she could definitely be "the one" and yet he seems afraid to go after her. He is afraid of her telling him to "piss up a rope". Well wouldnt that be better than moping alone, looking at her picture and pining for a time when things were different between them. I think he has to make the first move, because even if she wanted to, she is probably too stubborn to say she made a mistake by leaving.

And thank you for the update! I cant wait for this evening's game - even if Sid is playing on the third line, it will be great to see him back out there again. Maybe even Tanger too!

Oh I forgot to add that I am so happy that Loren finally admitted her feeling, even if it was just to herself. That's the first step, right? It's about damn time though. You could just tell the amount of sexual attention there was between the two of them, even if neither wanted to fully admit it or even admit it at all, until it was too late. :)

Just letting you know, I'm still loving the story. I comment when I can. Real life has been crazy. But I am still reading and enjoying it. I'm always excited when I see there has been an update to any of your stories. :)

I love how the first part was in Sid's POV. How he overheard that Loren would be at the ASG. I'm supsrised he just didn't cancel his appointments and go after her.

The description of the plane ride w/ the Flyers was priceless. Exactly how I thought the guys would act. I'm glad that you didn't make them, make a big deal about her working for Crosby, unlike other Penguin fans/writters would. I know that most Pens fans would make the Flyers look bad, even in completely fictional stories. Because of the mutual hate between the teams and fans. Thank you for proving me wrong that the whole fanbase isn't the same. :)

Love the update. I don't think I like the Kris and Loren dynamic. Seems too easy - maybe later on but I think you have to continue with the Loren / Sid thing, at least for now.

As much as I like Kris, I still feel that Loren and Sidney are connected. I really want them to deal with the issues between them and make a go of things. Loren gets Sid the way that no one else seems to - and Sidney know this. He knows that she is the girl for him.

He just has to find her and convince her of this.
