Maddi is stuck between a rock and a hard place for sure! Avalon is so cute, just ADORBALE! I loved the update and i hope there are more updates to come in the future! But seriously, this story is great! :)

First things first, I wold love to commend Maddi for finally seeing the writing on the wall and realizing that her relationship with Ryan is causing more drama then love at this point. The fact that she has also discovered that she needs to deal with her problems head on is also fantastic. It's like being stuck in a locked closet with a bear, she has now finally remembered that no matter how hard she tries to ignore the bear, it's still there. But good God, Ryan is acting like he's five. It appears Maddi's love of stalling the obvious has transferred to him, as she only now is ready to air out her demons so to speak and finally cut the chord on what is probably a rebound, and then Ryan keeps delaying this. Honestly it's like a toddler dragging his feet over not wanting to leave. God, you have to assume if Ava was able to see the romantic tension between Maddison and Zach (officially making her and Ryan the most perceptive people here) that one of Michael and/or Mari has this figured out too. And I just love Ava's optimistic logic, little kids probably are much more forgiving the adults. You can tell this will be hard on Ava as she obviously sees both Zach and Ryan as her dad, and if she sees Zach as Ryan's replacement this won't be as pretty of a transition as we'd like it too be. Other then that Ava is taking this pretty well. But I must say why to Maddi saying she's marrying Ryan, they might be engaged but this love story is heading nowhere good, and fast. At this point she should start cutting the chord instead of letting Ava's happy family idea run ramped and untamed. Now Zach has to tell Mari and Michael because if Ava goes up talking about how she's their sister then Zach's job got ten times more complicated. How I'd love to see that conversation. But honestly I think there will be a bit of resentment on the twins side. They are obviously closer to their dad and (friend or not) they now have to share him with Ava, meanwhile at this point Ava has not only Zach but also Maddi and (for now) Ryan to herself , while besides Zach, who will now be split three ways not factoring hockey and other relationships/ interests and mommy dearest who they, especially Michael, hold in the same regard as the villain in a horror movie. Plus, I can conceivably see him spending a lot of time with Ava in order to 'make up for lost time' and the Maddi once she finally gets the chance and the courage rids herself of Ryan with this leading to the twins feeling abandoned. Not even including Alisha's mind games that will no doubt prey on the twins' abandonment complexes. Now I wonder if Ryan is currently cheating on Maddi with someone else( I remember that awkward phone call between Maddison and Ryan) or if he plans to launch a plan to win Maddi back with Alisha to vilify Zach to the point that Zach is stuck with Alisha and Maddi runs back to Ryan (because Ryan's bipolar- I want you back but I don't want to talk about our problems- shit otherwise is making it seem like Zach is fighting for Maddi's affections unopposed. Happy for the update and update soon!

First thing, I'm proud Maddi is starting to see the obvious here and realize that she needs to break up with Ryan and, metaphorically, pull off the bandaid. Because its apparent that Maddi sees that at this point trying to fix things with Ryan is like trying to stay on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg; it's a nice cause, but honestly no good comes out of it. All parties involved are being hurt by the fact that none of the adults- particularly Maddi and Zach are able to realize when something's worth sticking out, and when you just have to cut your losses. Because neither Ava nor Ryan is being helped by Maddi sticking it out; because Ryan's about five minutes from exploding on Maddi in rage, and Ava witnessing it isn't helping Maddi's cause since we have no clue where Ava's loyalties lie. Because if it's with Ryan and she sees them break up over Zach, then we might see some bad blood between the two. And Zach honestly needs to realize keeping together for the kids' sake is a valiant effort, but as per usual it never works.
Now we get to the part that I've been anticipating for most of the story, Ava learning that Mr. Zach and Daddy are one in the same. The number one don't is to make Ava feel as if Zach is the only reason Ryan will (seemingly inevitably) be exiting stage left. Because if she does Ava's going to think that if it weren't for Zach, then the three of them would be like they were pre- Jersey. And that almost guarantees Ava will blame Zach for the one constant man in her life leaving. Also, Ava knows Zach is Mari and Michael's dad, and she also knows that Zach and Alicia are married, so explanation of how both are possible is key. Maybe pointing out Mari is now always a playmate would be good, or even maybe a day just Ava and Zach, for father daughter time. But this should also signal Zach telling his kids, as young kids talk, and Ava announcing to the twins that she's their sister and that their dad is her dad with them having no clue would not be good. Update soon!
