I hope they'll figure it all out.
I'm really excited about what will happen and how Jared will take the news when he finds out eventually.
I like that you didn't turn them into a happy family right away and show the difficulties minor league players go through and what a mental stress it is for them and their significant others.
Long story short, awesome chapter, great plot, can't wait to see where it is going :D

I can totally relate to Kass's plan to wait! That has always been my plan but I never really thoguht about what I would do if I was in a long term relationship like her and I think I would do the same thing. But yeah... lol. I like this chapter. :-) <3

The layout is nice and simple, I like it that way. The story was very well written, full of detail and description. The summary pulled me in right away, curious about the rest of the story, which did not disappoint. The story flows very nicely and the chapters are good lengths. Overall, it's an awesome story! Aww poor dude

Awwwww!! Poor Jared! Him being sad breaks my heart and with Kassy maybe being prego (At least that's what I got from the chapter.....) poor guy is gonna put even more stress on himself so that he can support his family.... sigh.... but I liked this chapter. :-)

Yeah, it sucks that he is the last one to do stuff, but he has to get over it. He isn't doing himself any favors by feeling bad for himself. He needs to have a positive mental attitude if he wants to do what he wants in life. I know it's hard especially in that sort of situation, but he has to believe that he can do before he can actually getting to do so.

Parker is so cute as always. I loved that he drew a picture of his Uncle Jared. It was completely adorable and I am glad that Jared seemed to appreciate it as much as he did. Maybe more inspirational words from his nephew will give Jared the boost he needs? Great job!

I feel so bad for poor Jared... it has to be hard to be the youngest of four. Eric is iso cute being all worried about Parker. Jared tries so hard, I hope it pays off. :-)

I love this chapter it's so sweet

Okay I'm kind of just mashing a huge review of I Never Promised You a Rose Garden and this one into one because I can. Every time I see the title of the prequel I think of the Nick Jonas song. My friend Brianna is a super fan and I get the effects of that. So as a result every time I see the title, I think of Nick Jonas and want to slam my head off a wall. Just so you know what you unconsciously torture me with and why it probably took me forever and a day to finish.

But on the bright side I did enjoy it, especially that Jesse fellow. He was easy going and down with everything. I really liked that about his character. I laughed my butt off the entire Marc Staal/Jared Staal phone conversation. It was just so funny and I have no idea why. Hands down my favorite part. I almost launched my computer across my room when Jared apologized about the almost kiss. I mean I literally have no game whatsoever but even I know not to do that. Though, I'm all about blunt moves with no recourse, BUT STILL that's a no no Jared.

Eric gets his own paragraph because I say so lol. He was my first hockey crush what can I say? But then he got married and now he is second to his son, so it sucks for him. Anyway, I am always particial to his character for obvious reasons, but I really did like how you portrayed him in this story. I always imagined him as a big brother figure to his younger siblings in an situation and you pulled that off very well. Especially the one part where he goes over and invites the girls to the party for his brother, that was good stuff. He is more like what I think he would be like in real life in this one as compared to Who Wouldn't Want to be Me. I think it's the different brother though, he is undoubtedly probably a lot closer with Jared than he is with Jordan because of the situation (Jared and Eric being in the same organization and Jordan and Eric being devision rivals and the most competitive two). The point is, he is awesome in this.

I guess that's enough for the other one, on to the sequel. Aw! They have been together for so long! That is super cute and it gives you a lot of leeway with their relationship I think. They have been together for a long time and are used to each other and how the other works, the foundations of their relationship are securely in tact, and they have a strong bond of love that has kept them togethetr for this long. It gives them a lot of trust in each other and that is something I really like. Their relationship can really be serious because of the amount of time they put into it.

Poor Jared, he is so bent out of shape :( I hope the fam and Kass can cheer him up so he can do well. He needs a strong mental attitude if he is going to make it into the NHL. I really hope he does. He just needs to stick with it and remain calm, every thing will be fine then.

I have gone on long enough and I'm kind of sorry you had to read all this. My bad. You are awesome 1) for writing 2) for reading this whole thing. :)
