I don't really know much about the NHL or the players, but I was attracted to your story. I did enjoy this and you are a talented writer. It is really another level to give both points of view. I appreciate that. Your story is really engaging and I am eager to read more.

Okay so I'm going to say this straight out: I don't like reading NHL fics because I don't watch hockey and I don't have a clue what's going on half the time.

But for some reason this story was different for me. I was a little hesitant at first (again, because of the hockey thing. I don't even know what the Stanley Cup is ) but then I was immediately drawn in by your writing skills. The narrative is strong, the characters are (so far) well developed, and I like the different styles presented within the POVs.

One thing I love love love is that you wrote this story in such a way that ignorant people like me can actually get into it and enjoy it the same as anyone else. I hate when I read a fic and the author assumes that I'm familiar with everything in the fanfiction world. You described the hockey player (dun forgot his name) in a way that I could see him in my mind even though I have no clue who he is. I also like that you provided a sufficient amount of detail so I could understand hockey a little more.

To sum it all up, I love your writing style, your narration, your detail, and the way you present things. This story is something I easily got into and started to enjoy. Please update because I'm subscribing. This is the first hockey fic I can actually say that I like.

I like that this is a hockey story, you don't find very many of them! I like that it has both characters' POV's. that makes you feel for them both more. There are a few things that could be edited, but nothing too big. Keep writing, and good luck! :)

I think you have a great story idea! It took me a moment to realize you had switched point of views, but it worked! You did a good job of making the narration different for each of the main characters in this as well. You might want to just read over the chapter and do some light editing. There were just a few typos and awkward sentences, otherwise, great job on this! Good luck with your story!
