Loved it as always! EJ is so cute with Brian, I'm sure he'll have a blast on his birthday, but poor guy will be heartbroken when it's time to leave. Can't wait for more!

Caught up again :P I'm glad Michelle is sticking up for EJ against his grandparents. But at least his grandmother is coming to his senses :) looking forward to them all being reunited!!!

Although, quick question, is he going to the Disney theme park in California or Florida? Because the one in California is Disneyland and the one in Florida is Walt Disney World. Just my obnoxious pointing that out as a former Disney employee.

Michelle just went all Mama Bear protecting her cub. I wish that James could see that she and Brian just love EJ and want what's best for him. He's never know his father, but he's never known them either. How can James just assume that living in Oklahoma with them is what's best for him? Plus, (correct me if I'm wrong) I thought the original BC had Brian's name on it still? That was how he was able to gain custody of his son in the first place and then there was one where he relinquished his rights. IDK, I may have to re-read 37 chapters, but they are 37 amazing chapters!!!

Yay! I was so excited when I saw you updated again! I'm so glad that Michelle is jumping in and really starting to fight for him. The Kents are jerks for constantly bringing up EJs biological mom all of the time and it's not fair to keep putting him through it. Loved it, can't wait for more!

Okay I seriously squealed when I saw the update. I knew the grandparents were going to keep fighting. I admit I feel for them. Losing your daughter and then losing your grandson (in a way) is a double stab. It's good that Michelle and EJ are growing closer. And no these are not shitty chapters. They show progress.

I'm glad EJ and Michelle have started to really bond. I'm curious how they will get along for the next few months. I'm glad to see she's dedicated to it.

Has social services closed their case with Brian? I know the grandparents are still fighting tooth and nail, but I'm not sure if it was mentioned where social services were. I'm sorry if I'm reading too much into this. Social services, custody disputes are kinda my area of concentration so my mind moves far beyond the basics. I thought they were involved because Brian had signed over his rights and they were looking to reestablish custody. So I was wondering if all of that had been resolved. It was the basis behind my comment before. Two times a month him missing school adds up and they tend to be critical of everything on active cases. Again, I'm sorry if I'm reading too much into this.
