Ah! I'm so late on commenting -- whoops. Our semester just is about to start, so I had to fly across the country and resettle into my room again and everything. I saw this right after it was posted, though, and honestly just removed myself from the room where all of my friends were playing cards, and went and sat by myself so that I could read the whole update in peace. And I had nearly the best eucher hand when this happened, too! So that really says something right there.

I felt so bad for Allie, having to come back with Noah and having Sparrow suddenly being gone. I'm glad she checked with Ashley -- or, I mean, tried to check with her -- but now I wonder if she's realized that maybe Ashley was in on it... since when she left Ashely and Sparrow were alone and all. I'm just super glad that Noah wasn't there when all of the guys were... that'd probably have been way too scary for the kid to handle, not to mention Shadows..... yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing how Shadows handles that news, or if Matt comes back or something, but I'm glad that it didn't happen just yet -- the suspense is going to be pretty awesome.

The whole confrontation between Matt and Sparrow was also pretty awesome, of course! It was pretty surprising to hear that Sparrow woke up already handcuffed to a bed in a cheap motel... if I was her I would probably be freaking the hell out thinking he had already raped me or something. And then when he was actually trying to rape her -- that scene was really nerve-wracking! I'm so surprised that calling him Matt actually got him to back off, I definitely was with her on thinking she'd only made it worse. But I wonder if it bothered him so much because Matt's still there, and Shadows is just trying his hardest to keep Matt buried away... but I think it'll definitely be harder for him to do that now that he's going to have Sparrow around him so often now.

I also appreciated her attempt to free herself. I'm a little confused with how she went through an unlocked window and then still had broken glass that she landed on, but whatever. I could just imagine the look on Syn's face when he saw who had literally ran into him -- that was really freaking amusing. Although I have to say I'm a bit surprised to see he's out there playing guard when he just got reunited in a way with his girlfriend, who he hadn't seen in a few weeks and all... Then again, I don't know where Ashley is right now, so yeah.

Anyways, the whole thing really just makes me wonder why Shadows is so obsessed with Sparrow in the first place. I mean, I get that he is, and I get why it would piss him off for her to think she had a right to leave him against his will, but still. I guess I just expect Sparrow to ask him or something, just be all "why do you even want me? shouldn't you want someone who actually listens to your orders?" or something. I mean, as far as I can tell, Matt's the one she had an actual relationship with. It seems like Shadows was only around long enough to punch her or whatever, not actually develop any feelings for her. :/

Needless to say, I am totally still on the edge of my seat, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for everyone next! And I really hope someone comes back and turns on a light for Sparrow -- because that'd be creepy as hell being stuck there, handcuffed to a bed, in the darkness, alone in a cheap motel room. Yeah.

I hope Matt comes back.

Ahhh can't wait for the next one it is getting so good! I can't wait to see if he finds out about Noah.

HOLYCRAP OHMYGOD YOU'RE BACK! :D
But no, seriously; that was my exact response that I shouted as soon as I saw the title of this story on my subscriptions list. I actually woke up my dog because I was too loud with my excitement. But don't worry, he sleeps all day anyways, so it wasn't a big deal.

What's much more important than whatever the hell I was rambling about, is the fact that both of these chapters were absolutely freaking amazing. Like seriously, on the edge of my seat, emotional roller-coaster ride kind of amazing. It was nice to see how easily Ashley worked herself right into Sparrow's life like that. Asking a bazillion questions can either be really awkward or work really well... or both, I guess... but I'm glad it worked well for her! I'll bet Shadows was just sitting there grinning like a cheshire cat at all of the information he got out of Ashley's one little conversation. I'm glad that Ashley does seem to like Sparrow, though! I still think it would be awesome to see the girls all getting along way down the road... but that obviously won't happen for a long time. I can't wait to see Sparrow's reaction to all of the girls, though. I can just picture her telling Allie how all of the girls must be insane to actually be in relationships with guys they know belong to Sevenfold. There probably won't be a girl's night out anytime soon. xD I'd like to see how Allie gets along with Ashley, and all of the other girls, for that matter! Allie's a pretty kickass girl, so I bet they'll eventually get along too... assuming she stays in contact with them. Oh no! You're not going to have Sevenfold kidnap Sparrow and then have Allie disappear, are you? :o

But more importantly, holycrap: Sparrow's getting kidnapped, isn't she? I feel bad for her getting slapped with the gun and all, though it really was pretty stupid to try and throw an alarm clock and run... she didn't really think that through all that well. But I completely get her desperation, too, so I guess thinking things through wasn't on the to-do list. She's probably terrified for Noah's life, especially since she know's he's coming back and all. I hope all of the guys take her out of there before Noah gets back -- the kid's going to be terrified if he comes home to finally get to see his mother and she's bleeding on the ground or something and they're surrounded by big men with guns.

Speaking of which, Chapter Seven was super awesome with how Shadows just appeared at the perfect moment. I was only half surprised that he was as cold to her as he was -- I was thinking somewhere deep down that he'd be happy to see her because he still liked her kind of thing, but I forgot how Shadows is... Shadows. But yeah, I loved their whole confrontation, and how even though she could get past Ashley, she just had her path completely blocked by Vengeance and Synyster. I wonder where Christ and Rev were for all of that action!

Also, I'm totally digging the new layout--I noticed it a few times before when I popped in to stalk this story, but I totally forgot to compliment it before. I think the layout and the banner really suit the story's mood!

Anyways, I absolutely loved these two updates, love, and I'm once again stuck on the edge of my seat waiting to see the next update! You really have a talent for the suspenseful chapter endings, you know! I hope your everything's well with your mom, too! I'm so glad you're back!

...well, that was most certainly packed full of action. =| And what a way to end it! I don't even know what to think! Did she just get shot, or was the barrel "colliding" with her face as in they hit her with it? Obviously I'm hoping for the latter. Because really, a shot to the head would not be good.

Can't wait to see more of this!

Just caught up on what you have posted so far and I am definitely looking forward to finding out where this is headed!

Noah is cute, and I love that he's the reason she finally stood up to Matt and left. Shows how good of a mother she is before he was even born, putting his best interests ahead of everything else.

Allie is a great friend, too. She's clearly ready to go into battle for her and her son, so it's great that she's got the support of someone like that... she's not alone, which is the main thing.

The insight into Matt was... chilling. Part of me hopes that if he finds out about his son, he wakes up to himself and his old self can shine through, but I won't be holding my breath. Clearly his intentions are only to re-claim what he believes is his, not for love but out of pride.. which is never a good thing. The fact that he's setting her up to be spied on is creepy, too. I'm hopeful that maybe Sparrow isn't so easily trusting of this new neighbour... especially since she's already aware of him being after her now.

Anyways, excellent start to a story and I'm looking forward to updates soon

I loved the gun range part of the chapter, I find Allie freaking hilarious. I was really laughing at a few parts. Great writing and I cant wait for Matt to come into this! More soon please:D
