Mm, so Noah is Matt's. Interesting.

I feel like this chapter was a bit rushed, but maybe that's because you just want to get things started. And it wasn't a filler - it showed more of the relationship between the friends, and it showed that her past was something that Sparrow had previously not liked to talk about.

Seriously though, no worries on taking however long you need while you're dealing with all of that; hospitals are absolutely no fun and I hope everything turns out alright! As much as it sucks to be us, your family is infinitely more important.

I think a chapter in Matt's perspective would be pretty darn awesome, though I suppose I am a bit biased because there's a chance Cat would be introduced... xD But no, I also think it'd be a great insight into what he's like after all this time... whether he's Shadows or if there's even an ounce of Matt left, you know? Plus it'd be interesting to see how much he knows about Noah and everything else. But at the same time, I'd love to see another chapter with Sparrow and Allie as well... and hear what exactly Sparrow tells to her mother. So, really, I'm sure it'll be totally awesome either way. (:

I loved loved LOVED this update, by the way! Allie seems like a kick-ass person that would be awesome to know! I love how determined she was to get a gun, and how she wouldn't take no for an answer from Sparrow about staying with her-- it's awesome Sparrow managed to make such a great friend after everything that happened. It does slightly confuse me, what with Sparrow's mother living so close--unless I'm reading that wrong and her mother is actually further away than just down the block or something. I would have thought when she up and left and tried to stay hidden from Shadows that she would be pretty far away from her parents, too, just to make it harder to find her... but that's just my gut reaction.

Seriously, though, I loved this update and I literally can not wait for more--well, obviously I can wait until everything settles down for you and whatnot. Also: loving the fact that Noah has a TMNT stuffed animal. Oh, my childhood! (:

I'm liking this alread. It's not like the other gang related stories which is always good in my book.

I'm wondering if Matt knows that he has a son, and whether that will make a difference when he conronts her.

Oh my god! Was that a catchy opening or what? Seriously, I'm already hooked and it's only the first chapter (not counting the prologue, but whatever). Great job on the story so far!

The whole Avenged-as-a-gang thing is usually pretty over done, as is the whole ran-away-with-kid thing, but combining the two should make for a pretty novel plot line. Especially when you factor in that she's scared of the "Shadows" half of Matt... It's late, so don't judge me for the gibberish that I'm pretending is a sentence. :p But seriously, I do think this will end up being very original. I mean, she's already very real and three-demensional, even though it's only the first chapter, just because we've seen a bit of her past and her present, and can already understand or at least infer why she made the decisions she made.

So yeah, I can't wait to see what she does next, and what Matt will do when he finds out about Noah. Keep it up, love! (:

This seems like it's going to be interesting. I do hope it is different to other gang stories, because I started out loving them and now I just feel that a majority of them are...well, boring.

But this is off to a good start. ;) Great work!
