Great chapter,love :)

I really feel bad for Sparrow because she's in danger and all she wants to do is live a normal life with her son and best friend.I wonder what Matt's gonna say to Sparrow. :D

A bit of a filler, but necessary all the same. It showed that the girls now have a gun, and it obviously showed Ashley's arrival. I have to wonder at whether Sparrow will trust the girl or not at the moment, and whether she'll want to let her into her life at all, considering she's in danger.

I just found this and love it! I love gang stories and I LOVE an evil Shadows...lol, bring on the bad asses. I cant wait for more:) Plus, I think it is really awesome that you are staying with you mom and helping her out, family is important:)

I like this chapter, I really did want to know what Matt was thinking =) All though I think you should switch inbetween the P.O.V's so you get what both of them are thinking =)

Hmm, interesting. Wasn't expecting a chapter for Matt's point of view, but it definitely told us some important things.

Sorry this is such a short comment. I have a ton of stuff to do. But I'm glad you're mom's okay! =)

First things first: your mother's health is not just a little bit more important than updating; it's completely and obviously a million times more important. Seriously, I love you for updating despite everything, but perhaps you should just chillax at your house and spend your downtime from helping her out taking some additional time for yourself. I hope all goes well with the healing process, by the way! She's very lucky to have a daughter willing to stay with her for a couple of weeks to help out!

...Did I mention that I love you for updating, though? I did? Well let me do it again: this chapter may have been a bit shorter than your others, but it was still very insightful and very interesting! Again, I'm probably a bit biased... but whatever. I know exactly what you mean about how switching points of view in a story can be extremely difficult if the story usually only has one point of view character, but I think you still did a fantastic job portraying Matt's perspective!

On to the introduction of the girls: I was obviously ecstatic to see that Cat played a role in this chapter, and I might have been a little overly proud of how helpful she had been to Shads in the whole thing. (: But seriously, I'm so impressed with how well you fit her into the story, and with how her personality already seems exactly like I had imagined it. And Ashley! She seems pretty darn awesome as well! I can't wait to see how the other girls end up and how they interact with each other, if they get a chance to in a chapter. And I really can't wait to see how the whole Ashley befriending Sparrow thing plays out; I've got a feeling that that girl will have no issues whatsoever playing the part perfectly, though I do hope that in the future--even if it's wayyyyy out in the future near the end of the story--that all of the girls end up being friends, Sparrow included. (: And I can just picture Noah getting doted on by all of the guys and all of the girls... it wouldn't be a bad way to raise a kid, really.... if you ignore the whole guns and danger thing, haha.

But yeah, long story short: I loved this update, and I will be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one. You've really got a talent for writing! (:

I'm glad that Allie is standing by her, even though it will put her in the line of fire. Not too sure about them buying a gun though as I don't think either of them would know how to use it and they'll probably end up getting it taken off them anyway.

I think the chapter in Matt's perspective is a great idea :-)
