Great story I enjoy reading Sidney's point of view.

Sidney should open up to Pascal, he would understand the most about having a baby/children at home and how hard it can be at times and missing the baby first kicking and the other first that the he might miss. And I also cannot wait to see how Janelle and Sidney relationship progress through this pregnancy and once the baby is born, hopefully some feeling develop between the two of them! Love it and cannot wait for more:)

P.S I hope you are doing good and feeling okay after the accident and surgery and I hope you have a easy and fast recovery :)

No matter who you are, no matter how prepared you think you are, a baby changes everything! It is a good thing that Sid is starting to realize that at this point. Then it wont be such a shock when it hits him right between the eyes!

Now that Sid has made the comittment - at least to himself- that he is going to be there for his baby, he is going to have to figure out what that means. Hockey being everything will no longer be the case but he will have find a compromise that he can live with both privately and professionally. And maybe more importantly, the compromise the Pittsburgh Penguins and the NHL can live with. Sid is already spread pretty thin with all his committments, so something will have to give if he wants to play a role in this baby's life.

I think he has to start by relying on some of those people closest to him - Mario, Duper - trusting them and letting them in on the fact he is going to be a father and talking to them about what he can expect. Getting some ideas on how to best deal with being an NHL father - and how to reconcile his wants with his responsibilities.

Then there is what he is going to do about Janelle.....

I loved it!!! They need to start hanging out and when Sid feels his baby he's gonna lose it!! So excited for this!

So I have to say this I'm not a Sidney fan. Never have been and probably never will be...... But I am a secret Sidney closet story reader!!!!! Lol

But anyways with the story I actually really like reading this story. It's a side of Sidney you don't really see of Sidney in stories. I know in one of the chapters in your authors notes you had put how people were complaining how you were portraying Sidney in this story. But unfortunately in real life that is how guys act, even athletes. I actually think its refreshing to see this side of Sid.

And I love Nate as the gay best friend. Also I'm glad to see Sid having a little bit of a break through and changing his mind a little bit. I hope he can stick with the change and be there for Janelle and the baby.

A deffinate breakthrough on Sidney's part. I can't wait to see the connection they have when he puts his hands to her stomach for the first time.

It's a shame that janelle doesn't have that female influence in her life. There is only so much Nate and Sid can do for janelle support wise. She needs support from a female. Someone who understands the joys and pains of pregnancy.

Is it too early to introduce her to trina yet or maybe even nathalie Lemieux. Just so she knows she's got someone there for her.

Is Sidney having a change of heart? It seems like he is wanting to experience some of those magic pregnancy moments - and he seems kind of nervous talking to Janelle.

It would be nice if Janelle could have someone to go through all this with. She really needs support and someone to confide in. Nate does his very best, but I think she needs more.

I really hope you are doing better. It must be difficult to type your story out with only one working arm. We do appreciate your effort in updating. You do a great job.

I don't usually like straight hockey fanfiction but I don't think I've seen anyone write this sort of story before. Dying for the next update. :D Soon yeah? Keep writing!
