My dear, I love you so much. This decision saddens me, as you know. But I'm just happy you aren't deleting it. In the end, I'm hoping you will modify it, but until then... Go work on Return To Sender, you goofball.
Aw, I'm so sad to see this one go on hiatus It's probably my favorite story of yours and I'll miss it very much. But yeah, I totally love the uniqueness of Return To Sender as well :tehe: Good luck onboth all of your stories, being stuck is always such a pain in the butt.
I love you, Kaitlyn, so very much. I know how hard this is for you, but I'm so excited you're not deleting it. This is such an original story and I love how beautiful you have made it so far. I know you'll return with this one day and I will most certainly be here waiting for it.
 Thanks for the shout-out! I'm more than happy to be here, my dear. I always will be. <3
Oh go butch grandma! At least one person has the balls to stand up to this kind of shit. No child deserves to live in a home like that. And its heartbreaking seeing it from Mikey's view, knowing that there's something horribly wrong but knowing there's nothing he can do about it. He's a smart kid, poor thing.
Aw.. Poor Frank. I really wasn't expecting that from his mum! Drunk yeah.. but drugs? Jeez... (at least I think it was drugs... I could be wrong *ponders*)
I hope she doesn't hurt little Frank Can't wait for more, that was a great update. I love how you get across the stages of their relationship as things happen, and they grow up. :arms:
Wow Kaitlyn, I'm so proud of you for getting this out! When I check my email I did a little dance, similar to this guy
The visual images that you create are simply stunning. Imagining a young Frank, Gerard, Mikey, and Joey are simply adorable; but here, you bring them to life in a way that is absolutely gorgeous.
I can see Mikey and Gerard waiting in their winter apparel on the front steps, decked out sort of similar to Ralphie and his little brother from the Christmas Story, hahaha.
I can see that tiny Frank watching in horror that unfolded between his grandma and parents from the front doorway.
I can't get over how sweet Mikey is, and how strong he is for merely being only six years old. He's so caring and is struggling so hard to come to terms with his life changing, and wanting to make Frank's life better. If only he had gotten to live with his dad, instead.
But what really endures me about Mikey, is he isn't naive. Even for six years old, he sees and feels the pain that Frank is going through. He doesn't shrug Frank's feelings aside; doesn't pretend like he isn't crumbling before his very eyes like most six year olds would do. It's very heart-warming yet heart-shattering at the exact same time, because while his little six year old mind should be carefree and enjoying simple things a child normally does, he's got Frank to worry about and he can't be carefree, knowing that Frank's life is in such shambles.
I can't imagine the horrors that Frank must see, day in and day out [and even at night; especially at night] while his mother destroys herself and even her son's life.
Another beautiful chapter, full of everything wonderful that this story offers us. Thank you for writing it <3
[edit] Gots me a page claim. I'm naming it, Turkwah Skrinnies. 'Cause we pwn, hardcore. <3 Make that high five #1.
