I'm a real heaven/hell fiction buff, so I was already excited to read this. The idea is really solid, but this story could really benefit from some more in-depth description. My favourite parts are easily the ones with Aletha, because you can truly see how conflicted her heart is - her relationships with Damion and her sister just so clearly express that.

I do struggle with how human the angels are though - sleeping, eating etc. The mark on Alexiel was genius, but Raphael's jealous reaction really makes me wonder if he has been tainted as well? Again, just quite human reactions. God and Satan being on such friendly terms as well is kind of strange. Lilith is very entertaining though, and I really enjoy her scenes.

I was also confused as to how quickly Alexiel and Damion went from him invading her one dream, to them conspiring to break her out of heaven. It felt rushed, and the development wasn't there. It was kind of like BAM, they have feelings for each other! But their bonding in hell is really sweet.

Overall, you have a really solid foundation and plotline (I have no idea where this story's headed!), and you introduced Satan's agenda superbly. Good luck in the contest!

I hardly ever comment on themes, but I love the banner - it fits the story so strikingly well. I also had a hard time seeing the text - that could just be me though. I'm really enjoying the stark contrast between heaven and hell. Hell simply seems like this free for all - an indulgent for all sins - while heaven almost seems sterile. The consequence for the two falling in love seems so catastrophic that it sets the intensity of the story. Although, I feel as if some more detail could really bring the story to life - I'm sure it could make the entire story just that much more vivid.

this story is really interesting. i have never read original fiction on here, because i usually have a really hard time getting into it. but i thoroughly enjoy this story. i like that it's also a co-write. :) keep up the good work!
