I've read the first 3 chapters and you have a good writing style, and you don't rush things. You make only a few mistakes with your comma's and apostrophes but other than that you're a very good writer. Keep up the good work.

Well...even though all Jimmy said was sweet and everything, I still can't blame her for reacting that way. She's young and got a lot going on in her life and is still trying to figure out who she is. She doesn't need a kid right now. =) They are awfully cute, though.

It's nice that he offered her support and to go with her when she decides to track her birth mother down. It's a touchy situation, either way someone is going to get hurt. If her mother is a douche, Harper will get hurt. And if she's not and they get along well, her mom will get hurt. Sucks.

I'm glad her mom told her, but her mom was right, too. It doesn't matter who her birth mother was...the woman who raised her is her true mom. Still, I hope she finds her birth mother and gets some answers to the ONE MILLION other questions she probably has. And awe, twin boys! So cute!

Awww, she's right though. Just because she isn't blood doesn't mean she isn't part of the family. But I can understand where Harper is coming from too, she just wants to know where she came from. I just hope she doesn't put all her eggs in one basket and get her hopes up. But I think she has to try and find her though, otherwise she may regret it. Lovely chapter, eeep twin boys, how cute!

Hello! Sorry for taking so long with your comment and recommendation, but here it is!

So, honestly, I've never read an Avenged Sevenfold story before, I've never even listened to their music (though I'm sure I'd like them if I listened. Rec me some songs? ), so I'm a little confused on the band members and whatnot. Anyways, I really think this story has potential from the chapters I've read so far. The beginning was eye catching, like how she said she knew what she was but not who, and I liked how you gave some background on the characters right from the get-go. I also thought it was kinda funny and cute how all the siblings' names begin with an "H".

I was really connecting with Harper throughout her day, especially when she was talking to Jimmy. I was very giddy for her to receive a call and I liked how she was a bit hesitant to take him up on the date. It felt more realistic to me that way instead of her fangirling and accepting it immediately. When she was picked up, I was laughing at her for acting like a bit of a dunce, I have to admit. I thought the date went well enough and it really makes me curious about future chapters!

Overall, I enjoyed this story! Great job on it!

Oh dear. This is going to be an interesting chat, I'm sure. I hope her mom is willing to open up and doesn't try to hide anything...or, even worse, what if her mom doesn't know much? Then, I hope she can at least give her something to go on. ^_^
