So, I just finished all 9 chapters!! I wanted to comment really quick and tell you how much I love this!
Josh is awesome and I just love him! I was originally rooting for Mick but he's kind of a jerk! Georgia's character is so loveable and the whole group seems totally close and awesome.

Anyway, great story and I can't wait for you to update!

Okay so I'm only though the prologue and part of the first chapter and I just had to comment and tell you how brilliant I already know this is going to be! Thank you so much for recommending this to me, it's perfect for what I was looking for! The prologue was heartbreaking because I know exactly how that feels! Anyway, I'm gonna subscribe to this and probably comment more soon!

I almost read this piece all at once had it not been for my need of sleep at 4 in the morning. It's extremely addictive. I was hooked reading when I should have been working and I regret none of it. You're writing style is clear, sharp and sophisticated while also keeping that playful aspect that seems to go hand-in-hand with the narrator, Nat. I find the story to be humorous as well as believable and serious all at once. You've done such a great job, I'm not even sure what to say. I love the characters, each being so unique and developed, real and lovable and just...UGH! I adore this so much and I will look out for it. xx poison

Oh my gosh! That prologue, broke my heart girl! I was all this is so cute and then BAM he doesn't love her and I was hooked. I love the narration it is simple and I love the flashback between Mick and Natalie.
I don't actually like Mick and I think Nat could do way better. He seems a bit creepy and that he is leading her on, I don't like how he wont even say he loves her as a friend, made me think he has MAJOR issues!!
Anyway loving this and only three chapters in! Update please I am hooked!!

The summary and prologue was a definite eye catcher. The way you wove the words together made me feel something for the protagonist, like I could relate. The feeling of being in love with a friend really hurts.

I love how you described Mick, it just felt so perfect. A girl in love rambling, is how I'm reading this and it's completely amazing.

I think you just caught yourself a reader.

This is such an adorable story, I don't even know what to really say. It just has me cheesing the whole way through it.

I really like your summary. I haven't gotten into the story yet, but your summary stirs some interest, makes me want to click on that first chapter.

You followed up the fantastic summary with a mesmerizing prologue that suckered me even more. Really, it was brilliant. I liked how the reader immediately gets a little bit of a sense as to what the story may be about.

I felt like you put a lot of yourself, maybe, into the first bit of the first chapter. I could be wrong and by no means am I saying that that's bad (I'm not one of those people; I say write about what you know, and you know yourself). I just found it lagged a bit there, ruined my interest a little--it pulled away from the story a little too much for my taste, basically. But at the end of chapter, you regain my interest fully. The little story about Mick and her was cute (I was hoping they'd do it on the washing machine)!

Overall, this is a cute lil' story. Sometimes it gets a little to cliche and other times it's so damn cute that I start to smile like an idiot. Good luck!

I'm in love with this so far. She's such a relatable character that it makes me want to give her a hug! I laughed when she talked about her ninja antics, I do the same thing! I love the way you write this, it's very fluid and makes everything read so smoothly. It's down to earth and makes you think like, "Oh yeah, I totally know what that feels like." I enjoy it because I know the feeling. You're a really talented author! No lie.

I hope that you keep up the amazing work on this because this is going to go places. Great job!

THIS IS GREAT. I'll admit, I was a bit unsure when reading the second latest chapter because of the whole 'fag' comment, but you really pulled it off brilliantly with your latest update. I just couldn't stop laughing at how awkward she was because I'd be exactly the same in her situation, and her babbling was so funny and realistic. I really, really like how this isn't just a 'girl in love with best friend' story. You've added the dynamic of Josh (I've jumped in his bandwagon by the way... TEAM JOSH 5EVA) which I really like and I love that he's not your typical male character. I was swooning with him in the latest chapter too. Something about him is just...

I'll stop being a creep now though. Mick annoys me a little, but I feel like that's your intention at this point in the story. I'm interested in learning more about both him and Josh, though. CAN'T WAIT FOR MOOOORE

The prologue for this really did break my heart. I thought it was going to be all cute to begin with, but no. I felt all hope of a cute and fluffy prologue draining away the more I read on. I kind of like it though, I'm not really into super-sappy romance and I'm almost sure that everyone has been in that position and done the same thing before, so major props for making your character really realistic.

Staying on Nat's character (I'm sorry, this comment was going to have structure but it kind of...doesn't. Ha), I really feel like she's really easy to relate to, or at least to me she is. She's got this really cynical and negative view of romance as a whole (which I also have) and she does seem to have this really humorous tone when she's narrating, but it's tinged with this little undertone of sadness and I really like this. It's almost as if she's even trying to put on a front to fool herself and I think that's an interesting thing to have noticed. I don't know if it's what you were going for, but it just adds that extra little bit of realism to her character to me.

The fridge is empty. How can the fridge be empty?

Nat is so like me that it makes me laugh a little. I love silly little lines and phrases like these, it just shows up so much of the character and it's really refreshing to read a piece where the narrator does have these little complaints about trivial things because when you're wandering around the house, you do wonder who stole that last bit of chocolate cake.

The minute Josh and Nat talked, I wanted them to get together. I think she'd be better off with him than she would be with Mick because he does seem like a little bit of an asshat at times. I've never read a story that includes a potential love triangle like this one either because it doesn't seem like both of them are fighting over Nat (yet) so I'm looking forward to seeing where you take that in future chapters.

Honestly, I love everything about this. You've portrayed the school in the perfect light (right down to the seniors complaining about the junior school nicking the back seats of the bus - I did that for my whole last year of school so I got a bit of a giggle out of that!) to the silly little fights that occur between people. Your characters are convincing, none seem absolutely perfect or ridiculously horrible (even Mick has his redeeming qualities) and you've got a lovely writing style. I'll be subscribing and looking forward to reading future chapters! Good luck with getting everything sorted in time for the end of the Big Bang challenge!

This is such an amazing story! I really did have fun reading this. The characterization is just fabulous; I'm in love with ALL of Nat's friends. They each have their own individual and unmistakable personalities, which I can't get enough of. I also feel Nat's pain at the beginning when she gets rejected by Mick, I feel so sorry for her. I like to think that at some point in the story, Mick will change his mind and be all like 'Oh I love you now, Nat', because then they'll both be happy, but I can't help feeling that Josh is going to grow on Nat, and she'll fall for him instead. Either way, I really want to find out what happens!

Everything about this story is great. It deserves a recommendation, which I have given you :D :D
