Your stories are the best! Like the way you keep things interesting without getting too unrealistic. Most fan fiction stories are completely exaggerated and consist of so many odd coincidences, a human being normally wouldn't experience in 350 years. Also most stories deal with the same topic: Brian and a girl were together in highschool, they split up, girl leaves Huntington Beach, after many years girl comes back, in the meantime Brian is famous, they meet again, get back together and that's it. Thank god your stories are more creative! Like your detailed and funny way of writing! Keep up the good work.

I have to agree, hospitals suck ass. (Ironic how I’m a nursing student, eh?) If at all possible when I have kids I want to have my baby at home with a midwife. I know it sounds insane because no pain meds, but that’s how much I hate being a patient in the hospital, regardless of how good the care is.

Yes, the press heard about Addie, not sure how exactly that will tie in yet, but it may tie in somewhere in the sequel.

I’m definitely the type of person that if I was that stressed out I wouldn’t be able to eat. I think it’s cute how Brian is in such a shitty condition but he’s still trying to take care of Rachel as best he can. It goes to show how much he really cares about her. Yeah, Rachel definitely knew something was up when Brian was constantly going out. And then the way he threw her around…. Horrible! If Rachel didn’t have the background that she did, she may not have figured out what it was, but she knew and she called him out on it. Brian’s just too sweet to turn into a violent person, and he needed the help. Glad you liked the drama, I felt like their relationship was almost too perfect and needed some mayhem LOL

Aww, thanks for the compliments! This was another chapter I did research on and I tried as best I could to write him in with the way it really happens. It was definitely a good idea for Matt to be involved. Let’s face it, he’d probably be the only one that would be able to stop Brian. Zack might be able to slow him down, but ultimately a drugged up Brian needs someone the size of a brick wall to be there to stop him if he gets out of control. Even though Brian was irritated with Matt and overall just agitated and stressed out he knew that Matt was still his brother and it was better this way. He just needed a minute to pull his shit together as best he could before he could face Matt in a nicer manner.

Rachel and Brian did need some time out of the house to start to reconnect. She loves him like crazy and you’re right, he would do the same for her. Of course I had to write in the smut! It was freaking killing me to not put any in the previous chapter or so! I feel like the smut towards the end of the story was a little lame in comparison to the beginning, but I assure you things WILL heat up again in the sequel.

I think life will just be easier for them with Rachel not working. Clearly she doesn’t have to but it’s not like she quit with the intention to be a trophy wife that doesn’t do anything else. She’s actually parenting her kids instead of having someone else do it and she does everything around the house herself for the most part. It’s her way of maintaining her independence I guess. She will tour with the guys in the future too

I felt like Brian needed to redeem himself sort of and that’s why I wrote in the whole dream/him comforting Addie. Plus, I wanted to put the part in there about Jimmy because I know that’s really true! He is the guardian angel!

I know, Addie asking about sex kind of plays into the sequel as interesting as it was. Let’s face it though, all kids are going to ask about it and I’m a firm believer that as close as you can get to the truth with being age appropriate is the best way to go. She’s definitely an overall inquisitive kid and wants the answers to all of the world’s questions!

The comment about Rachel being old made me laugh too! I just remember being little and thinking my parents were so old and my grandparents were archaic! Now I’m just like FML… I’m over a quarter of a century old already, my time is dwindling LOL. Brian is just in denial hahahaha

Poor Rachel, not only does she lose her brother but this tiny little baby that she’s already started to care for just gets left at her doorstep. Yes, thankfully Addie took the news as well as could be expected and she’ll prove to be a pretty good older sister, I’m sure. She does love her shopping though, and I had to give a shout out to Target because I’m completely addicted to that place!!! She is adorable too with the way she acts with Luna!

Well, the beginning was really interesting. How about we start off with Addie asking about sex lol. I am dreading the day when my daughters asks me this question lol because I seriously don't know how I would even begin to explain it. I love how she was just asking all these questions lol.

She was underweight, her eyes were sunken in, and she seemed a little dirty for a baby that was too small to get into anything.

OH NO! POOR BABY :'( Rachel definitely needs to call social services and get that baby away from her because she is obviously being neglected and no baby deserves that.

Aww, I love how her and Brian worked together to take care of the baby and managed to calm her down. The poor little thing. I seriously thought that Maribel wasn't going to come back.

OH MY GOD!!! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!! SHE JUST LEFT THE BABY ON THE FREAKING DOORSTEP. I'm just, I'm bewildered, I'm at a loss of words right now. My heart literally just broke for that poor baby and tears just formed in my eyes. I just, I can't right now. I would panic too if I suddenly hear a baby crying and open the door to see a baby on my doorstep, like seriously. Ok, I'm getting really emotional, calm down Arianna.

The poor baby is obviously sick and needs to be taken to the hospital. Aww, she has pnemonia and is malnourished and dehydrated, the poor thing. Luckily they got her to the hospital or she wouldn't of made it.

Aww, they are going to adopt the child as their own, that's so sweet. Rachel and Brian are such great parents and I know that they will take care of Luna. I think Addie will be happy about it too since she was just asking about them having more kids and plus she is a sweet girl.

“See Luna? It’s not so bad,” I said softly with a smile as she looked up at me. “Word on the street is that I just agreed to be your Daddy, pretty crazy stuff, huh?” I smirked. “I figured since we’re going to be spending the next 18 years together that we should probably get to know each other, lay down a couple of ground rules.

“For starters, no sleeping in the bed with me and your mom all night. I made the mistake of letting your older sister sleep in my bed a few times when she was little and it took me almost two years to get her to sleep in her own room. Next, I’m completely cool with it if you save the exploding diapers for your mom. I’ll never deny you a clean diaper, but that doesn’t mean I enjoy the extra messy ones. Also, no boyfriends. Ever. They’re bad news and only want one thing, trust me when I say I’ve been there and done that.

“You have a big sister named Addison, but we call her Addie. She’s a really good kid and I’m sure she’ll grow to love you just like I will. She’s probably going to try to dress you up and carry you around everywhere, so just be prepared for all of that. I’m sure she’ll pick on you when you get a little older, but I know you’ll drive her crazy sometimes too. Your mom is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my life, she’s the best mom in the world and I love her more than I could ever put into words. I’m sure you can already tell she’s falling for you, and you should know that you have it good. I’ll be the best that I can be, I promise I’ll take good care of you and teach you the things in life that you need to know, but I can’t do what I do without your Mom so don’t ever underestimate her. You just got yourself a really big family that is completely nuts, more grandparents than you can count and an aunt and five uncles, three of which that are bat shit crazy, but that’s a story for another time,” I said with a small laugh. “You have another uncle up in heaven too, and I guarantee you he’s watching us right now and laughing his ass off,” I smiled down at her.

A great ending as well. That was definitely a twist and I don't hate you for it. Instead, I love you even more. There you go suprising me again. Oh my god, this chapter still has me reeling, it was so amazing and sad and just emotional. Really great job on this chapter, you are such an amazing writer maybe you can give me some tips haha.

Wow, again another amazing chapter. The way you described the process of Brian trying to get over his addiction was so realistic. I could never write it like that, my way of writing it would be crap compared to how you did it. As I was reading it, I was scared that Brian might get violent on her and that Matt would have to step in but I'm glad that he didn't. I could definitely see some hostility between them, more on Brian's part.

Alright, I'm back again. OMG! I LOVED THIS CHAPTER!!! Let's start from the beginning and take this piece by piece.

Poor Brian, I can't imagine the pain he's going through. Poor Rachel as well, she's been so worried. She really is a good wife, taking care of Brian and Addie and helping them get better. I would be so pissed if nurses kept coming in and out of my room, waking me up when I'm trying to sleep. I would probably tell them off lol.

“And now you have your own nurse,” he laughed. “Maybe you can get her to dress up in one of those sexy nurse outfits and wait on you all day once Addie goes back to school.”

“Don’t go planting any ideas in his head,” Rachel smirked as she walked in the room and we both laughed, me immediately regretting it.

I think it's a good idea for Matt to get involved, we don't need Brian getting violent and hitting Rachel in a fit of rage because then things will not be the same. I wonder how this is going to go.

Again I loved this chapter! Loved the drama you added into it about Brian on the painkillers, you would think it would be enough drama because of the accident but this is a nice little twist. I don't know, this might not be my best review but just know that this was a great chapter. Hopefully my next one won't be so sucky.

YES! Brian was totally serious when he asked Rachel to marry him! I know, that shit’s cray-cray! And yes! He wants more babies too!! So exciting!!

I know, Brian is really sweet about Rachel when she was pregnant. I think it’s kind of cute how sexy he thinks she is when she’s pregnant with his baby. There’s definitely a baby/babies in the future for the two of them, but I won’t spoil it for you.

I thought it was really sweet too that he took Addie with him to get the rings. I contemplated how to write the wedding, but I wanted them to get married quickly so I figured Vegas was a fun option since it was just a few hour drive. I would be totally stoked if I woke up and a guy was slipping a ring on my finger! So romantic! Hopefully I wouldn’t freak out about being stared at and wake up swinging LOL

Brian definitely showed his cocky side in these couple of chapters, but that’s the most fun Brian to write!! I think the fact that he loves her so much is what makes it so raw and animalistic. Anyone can have rough sex, but I believe you really have to care about the person to have that emotional intensity.

Thanks for the compliments on the wedding! I spent a bunch of time looking up wedding vows/ceremonies and used them for ideas, writing them in my own words as best I could.

The limo sex was super fun to write too! Of course Rachel had to tease him until he couldn’t contain himself any longer! She knows how to get what she wants from him. Glad you liked how the smuttiness continued right into the next chapter and turned into almost a dom/sub situation. I would LOVE to wake up to Brian working my body like that… OMG I can’t even think about it, I can’t handle it LOL. They are sex crazed animals for sure! And even though the next chapter or so doesn’t have much in it, it definitely makes an appearance again in the future.

Alright, let's start from the beginning. So I'm not going to lie when I first started reading the chapter I was hella confused as to what the hell was going on, especially with the way you ended the last chapter, I thought you would continue on but as I read further I started to understand what was happening. I almost forgot that Rachel was a nurse.

Glad you chose this as the next one to read! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the smuttiness area as the story continues to progress.

Yeah, this one does mention Jimmy’s passing a few times, but it’s all relevant to what comes later in the story. Poor Bri, I feel so bad for him in real life. It was so hard to watch interviews around the time of the Nightmare release because they were all so down in the dumps, but he was the worst. He looked like he was on the verge of tears every time he talked about Jimmy and it was heartbreaking to watch…. Now that I’m depressed I’ll get back to the comments….LOL

It’s awesome how they were able to work together to co-parent Addie even though they split up before she was born. They wanted what was in the best interest for her and they always tried so hard to make sure she knew that they loved her and she would never have to choose. Brian may not be perfect, but everyone has their demons and at least his stay hidden away from the one that matters most. The issues that he’s having are completely fixable. He loves Addie to death and she loves him to pieces. I totally wouldn’t mind Brian being my baby daddy, or Matt for that matter!!

Brian and Rachel have always had something between them that they were never able to completely push away. The timing wasn’t right for either one of them and now they’re realizing what the important things in life are. The confessions were fun to write, especially since Rachel was kind of against them at first and then ended up breaking down to Brian. Of course he had to comfort her too!! Now that the communication is open on a totally different level they see each other in a different light.

If you liked the shower bit, you’ll love what’s coming up!!! Things will definitely be getting more steamy!! The smut scene was fun but trust me when I say it’s just the beginning! Brian is a complete BEAST in some of these chapters!

We’ll see what happens with Rachel’s family in the future. There are definitely kinks that need to be worked out and just because things may seem better for a while doesn’t mean that they will stay that way.

I tried not to make the second chapter too cute, so I hope it wasn’t overwhelming LOL

Brian of course had to get started off on the wrong foot by leaving visible marks on Rachel. It just gives another reason for Rachel’s parents to hate him on top of showing up with Rachel and them running late.

Rachel’s parents, especially her mom, are pretty much squares. They think they’re perfect and anyone who isn’t exactly like them or what they think of as perfect is screwed. Being overprotective doesn’t even touch the way that they are with Rachel when it comes to Brian. You’ll see throughout this story (and the sequel if you choose to read it) that Rachel won’t back down and stands up for what she believes in.

Addie is definitely a trip. I mean, Rachel and Brian can be total goofballs, so of course Addie is going to have some of that in her too. Not to mention that Papa Gates is also in her bloodline LOL. Those two play off of each other like crazy when they’re together.

Brian can definitely be a gentleman, he’s really good to Rachel. Between the sheets the gentleman tends to go away though and his alter ego makes an appearance on occasion 

I had to throw the little bit in there about Brian getting on Addie about the DS to show that it’s not all fun and games with him. Not only does he make it a point to show and tell her that he loves her, but he legitimately parents her too. He doesn’t leave all of the disciplining to Rachel. He’s definitely not ready for his little girl to grow up, which will present more problems in the future. I can’t think of one kid I knew of that absolutely loved to go to school LOL.

Addie is an inquisitive kid who knows how to push Brian’s buttons. Sometimes she uses her ability to make him laugh and other times she uses it to make him crazy, but don’t all kids do that to their parents?

Papa Gates has all of the words of wisdom. He’s a good source for Brian to go to as you’ll see in the future as well. I love him too!!

Again, Brian can be a total sweetheart and a true romantic. I try not to make my stories too cute, but all of the cuteness in the first few chapters of this one will be balanced out by the end, I assure you. The sequel is all kinds of crazy! I could totally write a Matt story! Perhaps it will be my next and the leading lady will be named Arianna!

I thought the flowers in the beginning of the third chapter were a fun idea. I actually looked up all of the rose colors to see what they meant so it was almost challenging to come up with sweet things for him to say that portrayed the meaning of the rose colors. I wish I had someone as sweet as Brian too, I mean my guy is sweet, but not like this LOL.

YES! A MAN WHO COOKS AND CLEANS!! IT’S A RARE SPECIES!! I figured if he was such a good dad he wouldn’t be feeding Addie fast food or junk all of the time, plus Rachel probably would have kicked his ass if he did anything so foolish.

Hmmm…. Kitchen sex?!?!?! May or may not be appearing or possibly already written into the sequel….. It would be quite racy, no?

It’s hundreds, maybe thousands of pictures, letters, notes and everything else you can think of from our fans.” He handed me the book and I opened it and started flipping through it. “It’s insane, I never realized how awesome our fans were until I saw that.”

“This is crazy,” I said as I started flipping through page after page of pictures of Jimmy with fans and pictures of the entire band with fans. “They have quotes written in here and everything,” I noted as I flipped back a bunch of pages at once, finding the letters and notes he was talking about. I flipped through it a little more before passing it to Matt.

“They want us to keep going, they want the album that we’ve been writing for and they want us to keep touring. Part of me feels like we need to keep doing it for them,” Zack added.

“There’s so much love from them,” Matt stated as he continued to look through the book.

“I’ve been thinking about it,” I started, “and I think we need to keep going for Jimmy. He wouldn’t want us to stop following our dreams because of this. He’d want us to keep going. I think we owe it to him to put this album together and make it the best thing we’ve ever put out. You know he wanted us to blow up, and this is his last shot at writing so I think we should go for it. Can you imagine what it would be like if we just completely blew this one out of the water? He would be even more of a legacy.”

“Jimmy wouldn’t have given up if it was one of us that passed,” Johnny said as Matt handed him the book. “He’d keep going in honor of us and to give back to the fans what they’ve given to us.”

This seemed so real and I could totally picture this really happening. I wonder, is this how they officially decided to keep going after Jimmy's death instead of just quitting. I bet it was something similar to this.

Halfway through the movie, Rachel was on top of me and burying her face into the crook of my neck.

Rachel sat a full plate down in front of me and I thanked her before looking back at Addie who still had the same expression on her face. Rachel sat down across from me and looked over at Addie.

“I think you need some more syrup on that before you eat it,” I told her. She ignored me and opened her mouth as wide as she could, crunching down on the bacon loudly. I looked over at Rachel and she shrugged her shoulders. “All of this foolishness comes from your side, you know? You’re both freaks,” I smirked.

“Says the one that tattooed a cigarette brand across his knuckles,” Rachel mumbled.

“Yeah, and who had hair longer than mine for most of my life,” Addie chimed in. Rachel dropped her fork on her plate and tried not to choke on her food as she started laughing hysterically.

“Yep,” Rachel got out between laughs, “THAT she definitely gets from me.” Addie started laughing and I looked over at her.

“Shut up and eat your pancakes, you little freak,” I laughed as I reached over and tickled her neck and she squealed and scrunched her shoulders up.

“Tell me about it, at least you get the easy way out. You just have to put up with it, I have to put up with it and explain it all too,” she laughed.

“Yeah, until she’s a teenager and I have to deal with all of the boyfriends,” I joked.

This part made me think of my daughter. I am so not ready for her to hit puberty yet and I know it's going to be hard to keep all the boys off her since she's so darn cute :D

Aww so it seems they had a wonderful time on the beach and they all seem happy which is good. This is making me think about me and my daughter in the future.

Trying to not go to school eh, don't blame her. I never liked school myself.

This part made me laugh, I could totally hear her saying that.

“Try not to let them get to you, right now it sounds like you and Rachel just need to focus on your relationship without any influence from anyone else. If they can’t learn to back off, then you guys should address it once you know what direction you’re going in for sure. You need to do what’s in the best interest for your family, and if they love her the way any parent should love a child, they should support her in any decision she makes. If that’s the case then all you can do is prove all of their theories wrong.”
