Jake definitely seems to be settling in well with Brian's mom and I think it was good timing for Brian and Mia to have some time alone I couldn't help putting in the part where Brian got all protective of Mia, I have to admit it's hot to see your man get all macho when he's staking his claim over you to prove to another guy that you're his!

Poor bub! So it was because Zack looked like the guy that hurt him. hopefully, with time, and reassurances from Brian and Mia, Jake will relax around everyone.

Having been groped in public myself this week, I know how annoying it is! My boyfriend would have acted exactly the same as Brian, drunk or sober. I kinda like that he was so protective of her, and seeing your man get all riled up, it's so damn hot! haha.

Sexy time alert! Woot woot! XD I like that they had some time to themselves to reconnect, it is important for their relationship. They need to be a tight unit for Jake. Maybe next time they get some free time, they can get down and dirty and help Jimmy out ;) haha. I'm such a perve

Great update :) I hope Brian doesn't go too overboard again. It's nice that he is protective but he can't go getting himself hurt!!! And I hope Jake warms up to Zack but all in his own time I guess :) looking forward to more!!!

Wonderful update! I think the thing with Brian was a one time thing and he was just protecting Mia. I really hope jake warms up to Zacky and they can develop a good relationship. Z is such a sweetheart and I want jake to see that side of him. I adore how comfortable jake is with Brian now it warms my heart. This is one of my favorite stories!

I think in time he will warm up to Zack :) and I think Brian's good :) he loves Mia and Jake too much :) and I'm so happy he Jake told them he loves them :D

First of all I want to send out a huge thank you and a hug to those who just started reading this story and decided to give it a chance! I know some of you probably came here after reading one of my other stories and it really means a lot to me that you were interested enough to check out some of my other stuff.

Most of you are right on with why Jake is so hesitant to let Zack in, but we will find out more about the situation in the chapter I'm about to post! I'm really glad you guys enjoyed the Daddy and Jake time because I had a lot of fun with that chapter when I was writing it. I think Brian did the right thing by taking a lot of pressure off of Jake by allowing him to be more independent during bath time. They will be going on tour in the next chapter so we'll see how he adjusts to life on the road as well!

Brian and Mia had some sexy time and I'm glad you all seemed to enjoy it! We can all dream about the man who is sweet one minute and a raging sex machine the next, right? Especially if he happens to be Synyster Gates! rachthebat. and I have been discussing how we would like to clone him, if we come up with a way I'll be sure to share!

The next chapter is filled with all the good stuff and a little bit more comes out about Jake's past. I'll have it up shortly.

Huge fan! Super excited to read the next chapter

I just found this yesterday (along with Two Months) and read them both in record time. I love this story so much! I get the feeling that Zacky resembles the guy that hurt Jake more so than any of the other guys. Maybe that's why he's scared of him?

Bringing Jake chicken nuggets when Brian and Mia met him was a great! Not only did it help Jake to know that they weren't there to hurt him it got him to eat. He is such a sweet little boy and I'm glad he's in a loving home now. Brian and Mia love him so much and you can see that not only is Jake trusting them more now he's starting to love them too.

I love this story!! I wonder why he isn't liking zacky too much. Hopefully we'll get a chapter with him in it soon. Update soon please! <3

Jake and Brian are doing so well together and I can't wait for them to go on tour. I'm sure it will be an adjustment for jake, but I think he will be just fine.

I approve greatly of the new background, I love that look of his I've said it plenty of times before, but I'll say it again. I ADORE how you write Brian! <3

Fun fact, while reading the sex scene, A Little Piece of Heaven came on my iPod, But it was a good sex scene, I love how Brian is so sweet and cute with Jake, being supportive when Mia needs him to be, like her book idea - which I think is an awesome idea, by the way - then turning into a complete sex bomb. He's like the perfect man, can I get me one of those? XD

I think the fact that Brian didn't push him in anyway, helped Jake relax in the bath. And he let Jake wash himself, turning away slightly, I think gave Jake a little piece of mind that Brian wouldn't do anything to him. Letting Jake play with the crayons, and drawing himself, helped cement the bond between father and son. The time at the beach hunting crabs was so sweet! Like AJ said, he's giving Jake his freedom, therefore slowly gaining Brian's trust. Eventually, he will see Brian as someone who will let him be himself.

I didn't think he would warm up to Zack, I don't know, maybe the eyes and the piercings scared him? I hope they can get past it though, especially with them going on tour soon. Unless Mia will be staying at home.

So yeah, another awesome update! :D Can't wait for more!

I thought Bri handled alone time with Jake brilliantly. Letting him wash himself definitely helped but taking him to the beach and getting crabs, letting him play with the crayons in the bath ... He's giving Jake freedom and therefore gaining trust. They're doing great as a family.

I'm not sure about the problem with Zacky. But I can't wait to find out what's going on there.

Mia's book sounds like a great idea.

This was amazing :D and it was an amazing Jake and Daddy time :) I think Brian helped him with various things, one of them leaving him to wash himself :) I wonder why he's not comfortable with Zacky. Maybe he reminds him of someone. And Mia's book is a very good idea :) I think is awesme :D and sexy time always awesome :P always hot :P they have really good skills to not wake Jake lol
