Just the other day, I was thinking I needed to post here and beg you to update! I missed that you were wedding planning now (huge congrats), so you're forgiven for taking time off. I don't have time for a full comment now, but I'll be back with one later tonight or tomorrow.

I'm sorry you had to deal with someone like that. I do get the confidence thing with Zacky, though. In one of the earlier chapters, he asked Cassie something like, 'what's wrong with me?' or 'what did I do wrong', when in reality, it wasn't anything he did at all. But I can understand how being cheated on would make you think something was wrong with you and not that it was the other person's issue. I get him thinking Cassie deserves better, especially after dealing with her ex, but at the end of the day, it's up to her to decide what makes her happy, etc. I'm all good now, it just really threw me off when I was reading this morning because I wasn't expecting anything major until Jimmy's plan got put into motion.

I based it on a personal experience, I had a thing with a guy who wanted me to move in with him etc, it was all fine and suddenly he ran into his ex, and wanted nothing to do with me. To this day I still don't know what was said, I guess it's just a confidence thing with Zacky. He's hurting from what's been said, and the best way for him to deal with it is to hurt those around him, and maybe he feels that cassie deserves better, so pushing her away is the best thing for him to do...does that clear it up? I'm sorry for the confusion!

More of a confused one. It just surprised me how quickly Zee could go from 'stay with me for awhile - no rush on finding you a new apartment' to 'leave me alone, don't talk to me, this was all a mistake'. Yes, Gena said some awful things to him, and it's understandable that anyone hearing it would be second guessing themselves, but Cassie isn't just some new fling for him, it's someone he's known forever. She was the one who comforted him when all the shit with Gena was happening at the beginning, and I guess it was just shocking how easily he could toss her aside like she meant nothing to him, though I was happy that he realized how shitty he'd been to her.

Is that a good "I don't know what to think" or a bad one?

I finally had a chance to read these latest two chapters last night and I don't know what to think now.

I loved the banter between Cassie and the guys while they were helping her move. Of course they'd bitch about doing anything but I'm imagining they'd have been worse had she hired someone else to help her and they later found out about it.

Ugh, Gena's a bitch! I don't understand her reasoning, though. Clearly she isn't doing this because she wants Zack back, so what is her motive for being so awful? She reminded me a bit of a serial killer with her 'if I can't have you, no one can' mentality. Like honestly, what's the point of telling someone you hope they're miserable for the rest of their life? I take back what I said about her and Cass never meeting, too(at least I think that was this story). While Cass/Zack aren't in a good place right now, I have no doubt that if she/they ran into Gena and she started going off, Cass would have no issues with slapping and/or yelling at her. The only good thing to come out of that whole exchange was Zack realizing what an ass he was to Cassie.

I have a feeling this plan isn't going to go well. I see one of two things happening, and neither of them are very positive. Zack could decide that Gena was right and Cass deserves someone better, so says fuck it and gets wasted and regrets doing stuff with the stripper, or gets mad at everyone for trying to make him do something he doesn't want to and storms out, leaving Cass confused. I hope that Zack realizes soon that Cass isn't anything like Gena, and that he can talk to her about things without fear of her being dismissive or laughing at him. She's always been there for him, so now shouldn't be any different.

Oh Oh... I'm pretty sure Zacky will like that girl and something will happen between the two of them. And I'm also pretty sure that Cassie will be feeling miserable as she sees that unfold right in front of her eyes...
Zacky should have just talked to her about all the stuff that's on his mind. That would make so many of their problems disappear...

Oh man, things aren't going to get any easier for Zack and Cass now are they? I'm imagining lots of scenarios where someone sees something and automatically assumes it is something different( namely Jimmy, but maybe Cass' brother too). No such thing as figuring out a relationship on your own when all your friends are watching your every move, insistent that more must be going on. This could lead to some pretty funny situations, but I'd imagine a pain in the ass for Zack/Cass. I'm sensing lots of sneaking around and random excuses for why they're spending so much time together alone.

Vacation sounds nice, especially if you were somewhere warm! This chapter wasn't crap, either. Not every chapter has to have something major happen, and given that they just got off tour and are trying to figure out normal life now, I liked this chapter. It showed what it's going to be like for Zee/Cass now that they don't have to sneak around as much as when they were on the bus, and gauge if they want whatever they have to be something more. I also thought it was a nice touch when they were parting and Cass seemed to question whether calling Zee was her best option. It was a bit surprising given that they've been friends forever, but I understand her not really knowing how to act now. Not wanting him to think she thinks what they have is more than it really is or wants it to be, but also knowing what it's like to finally be home and not knowing how he spends those first few days and whether he just wants to be alone for a few days.

Oh Jimmy, you're lovable but clueless. There is no way that plan won't backfire on him. That's just what happens when you think you know everything and don't. I'm really looking forward to that particular outing :)

Uh the plan it might work but then again it might not and I'm pretty sure Cassie will be pissed but who knows she might not.
