  • Argh! My stupid computer is a whore and I had two pages of comments written up and my bitch of a laptop just randomly decided to shut itself down so I lost it all! Argh!

    Chapter 14

I seriously can’t blame Mallory for cutting everyone out. As if Matt doesn’t deserve it for what he did… but so does everyone else. It’s hard to believe right now that they give any kind of a damn, since they knew what was going on and just let her go along her merry way thinking life was perfect. Not cool.

He’s sorry? Pfft. Fat lot of good that does.

I can’t believe that after everything, he’s still refusing to say how long he was fucking around on her. Obviously he’s too stupid to realise that the reason it’s important is the same reason he doesn’t want to admit it… the length of time someone cheats for makes a real difference in the chances of being forgiven. It defines whether it was just a one time thing, a fling or an affair… and to me, 5 months = affair.

I’m really hating Matt right now. He’s just such a massive dick! As if it’s not bad enough he’s done what he’s done, but then he has to go and be condescending and arrogant? Fuck face. He doesn’t even really seem all that sorry… maybe just sorry he got caught.

    Chapter 15

It’s good that her mum was able to help get her into a place so quickly. I don’t blame her for not wanting to get down to the nitty gritty of things… I’m sure it’s more about her pride, than anything. It is humiliating to have to admit that you’ve been cheated on, let alone by someone you thought the world of and someone you once called a best friend.

I can’t say I blame Mallory for still being royally pissed at Erin. I am too, and I’m only a reader! I’m not even living it. Hahaha. Erin’s reasons for not telling her—while valid—still aren’t enough to excuse her. I get not wanting to say something and piss Mallory off since she felt she wouldn’t believe her; but it still doesn’t excuse it. She knew Mallory had suspicions and she still said nothing…

I mean, I get that she probably didn’t want to get involved, either. But it was too late, she classed Mallory as a friend, so she shouldn’t have let her be treated like that. There was definitely ways she could have gone about it… but she chose not to. Plus there’s something about the way Erin is reacting to it all… she’s too “I told you so” about it, rather than actually feeling bad for what Mallory is going through. I dunno, she just doesn’t seem very sympathetic at all.

    Chapter 16

Can’t say I blame Mallory for turning to the bottle. It’s not like most people won’t do that at least once in their lives… drowning your sorrows is sometimes the best thing you can do. It helps relax you enough to let out your true emotions and pain. Of course it never seems like a great idea the following morning when the hangover sets in…

Oh, shit! She’s gonna go driving now (drunkenly, bad girl!) and get revenge? I’m a little worried… I hope she doesn’t do anything too insane!

Oh my god! What a prick!! He’s at that whore’s house?! Wow… he really is a dog. Fuck him. Poor Mallory… as if it isn’t bad he cheated on her with her so called friend… but he went back to her after she left?! What a jerk. It just goes to show he really wasn’t sorry and he didn’t care that he hurt her… fucking loser.

I’m glad she trashed their cars… but she’s stupid for not leaving before the cops got there. Now she’s in for way more drama than before… and again they come out of it clean. Bullshit. Haha.

    Chapter 17

I bet being in a jail cell is very sobering. Haha.

Argh. It’s douche-man to the rescue! I know I should be kind of happy that he bailed her out… but fuck that. I wish it was anyone else but him… much the same as she probably does.

No! He did NOT just say he was the bigger person?!?! Oh my god! I’m sorry, I would’ve just slapped him in the face if I was her… whether he was driving or not. Actually, I would’ve taken my keys, called a cab and told him to go fuck himself when I stepped out of the police station.

Yeah, bullshit that was why you were at the slut’s house… dickface.

Argh, sometimes I just hate how stupid men can be. He really can’t come to understand that she wants him to act like he wants her back? Really? It goes a long way to let go of a little dignity and grovel… but it seems he’s far too stupid to realise that. Or stubborn and pigheaded. Jerk.

I don’t blame her for giving up. He hasn’t given her reason to forgive him, so why should she?

    Chapter 18

Argh, really? Her father is making her face the bitch? I’d drop the envelop in the mailbox and haul ass out of there.

I’m not overly happy Erin is there. I still don’t like her and I don’t see myself ever liking her again… she’s not a good person.

Wow, Tess is seriously fucked up in the head. She really has a messed up train of thought to assume that just because she has to fuck someone for some semblance of intimacy that everyone does… she’s nothing more than a prostitute. She’s the one who is gonna end up living a very lonely and sad little life…

She deserved the ass kicking she got. And then some. But I’m glad Erin didn’t let it get too far… she doesn’t need assault charges on top of everything else. But something tells me Tess wouldn’t have the balls.

    Chapter 19

Well, although Tess’ apology meant nothing and seemed more for her own benefit than anything… at least she’s leaving. I would be glad to have her never make an appearance in the story again… she’s just a loser. But if she should… I hope it’s because her life has turned to absolute shit and she’s got nothing and nonone. Karma, bitch!

Loved this story…. Gonna subscribe to the sequel right now and catch up as soon as I can!!

  • I think it was very big of Mallory to listen to her and say nothing more than "good for you." I'm proud of the way she's keeping her head up. I just hope she doesn't fall into trusting Tess again, because I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard from that bitch. Like SHADOWS COURTESAN said, if Tess's mom is sick and dies, isn't it likely Tess will come back? Anyway, I can't wait for the start of the sequel!!!!!!!

  • @ Mrs. McCarron
I thought of that too. She was just charged for making a poor decision. I myself would love to punch some people but I'd rather not because of the consequences. I just found this story and I love it!

  • Phew, finally caught up!

Erin was right to an extent, Mallory wouldn't have believed her at the time. Maybe she should have gotten some solid proof, then confronted Mall.

While keying their cars might have given her some temporary elation, it wouldn't have lasted. And she managed to get herself arrested, too. Thank goodness Matt bailed her out, and daddy managed to get her off the charges. Other people aren't quite as lucky. If she really wanted to get back at Matt, she should have just walked away, and stayed away. Shown him that she no longer cares what he does - or who. Easier said than done, I know, but it would have given her more satisfaction to know that it hurt Matt. And it would have, to know that she felt nothing. Anger and hate show that she still cares. I get it, though, emotions aren't easily turned off.

Having said that, I am glad that she beat the shit out of Tess! Haha. Tess is nothing but scum, a two bit whore who will get her comeuppance. What goes around, comes around ;)

I just hope that Tess doesn't press charges for assault - I imagine it would be the kind of thing she would do.

I'm all subbed up to the sequel! :D

  • Tess deserves everything that she gets, she's a slut and I hated her from the beginning. She clearly has daddy issues of her own, and she must be a fuckin moron to believe that Matt still likes her/that Mal wanted something out of Matt. Like, what fucking even?! I'm so glad that Mal's finally hit her. Clap
