I'm glad Mal is not giving in to him. It was nice of him to bail her out and drive her home but he has to work much harder if he wants her back. However, if you intentionally cheat on someone you must not have cared enough in the first place. My rant is over now lol ready for the next chapter

If I was in her boat, I'd total their cars too. I mean, I've gotten cheated on once and I wanted to destroy everything. Oh my god, Matt. Really? You think bailing her out and saying you care is going to help? Fucking hell, boy. You better try your goddamn ass out bud.

So, first, yes...I would seriously consider destroying their cars. I doubt I would do it, but I would think about it long and hard before deciding not to. Lol. However, it was definitely deserved, and both Tess and Matt can suck it!

Second, really Matt? You think there's a way to get past that? I don't know how anyone could ever get over something like that. And while I'm secretly hoping that they manage it in the sequel (tee hee), it's not going to be something that happens in a matter of days or even weeks. Bailing her out didn't fix a damn thing; telling her he still cares isn't the Band-Aid she needs, because if he really cared, he wouldn't have slept with someone else. I think it's strong of her to stick to her guns and tell him to stay away, and I'm proud of her for that.

You know I'm like everyone else and eagerly awaiting the next two chapters and the start of the sequel. I'm excited your updating your other stories, too, though. Lol.

I love this! And I'm super weirdly proud that Mal isn't going back to Matt, but my Matt-loving heart wants her to! He's just so adorable and wonderful (even though he's a shit) and I must admit, it's refreshing to read a story when the leading lady doesn't immediately crumble and get back with their cheating spouse!

But there's so much tension, it's like walking a tightrope every time I read! You should be proud of this, it's absolutely fantastic!
