Jeez am I glad I found this story! Mr. Darke is for sure a sex symbol in my mind. Emma seems to be very shy but I was shocked that she didn't freak out when she saw the crop and what not. I can't wait to see if he tries to taint that innocence of hers! I will for sure be back for more when it gets here

I think you're right. A big turn on for me about older men is that they are indeed more mature. They have experienced a lot more things in the world and seem to be more confident and grown into themselves. I think that they have had the time to figure out what they want in life instead of being young, wild and running all over the place. Mmmm. Plus, older men in general just seem more dominant and that's something that I'm very attracted to.

I'm on the third chapter and oh my lord, this third chapter is intense! And the cliffhanger! XD Mandie, I'm in love with your story. I truly mean it! Mr. Darke is just so... mysterious and Emma is so innocent and in some ways, funny (in a good way, of course). But wow. This whole chapter makes me wish there were more chapters beyond the four that you have posted. X)

Thanks doll! So glad you liked it. Mikey is the first homosexual character I've ever written. Hopefully I did it tastefully and subtly. I want more diversity in my stuff sometimes so it's not all one dimensional.

Is it wrong I get excited for when I update the chapter too? I like finding out what's next too.

Oh thank you so much for noticing that! I read several erotic books and I just face palm cause it seems a lot of them automatically have the female attracted to the male. Like lust at first site or something. I'm not knocking that cause it could happen I guess but I loveeee the tension in stories. Being attracted to someone and that tension before the sexual stuff is just as good I think.

I want to start off by saying I absolutely love your writing style. It's fast-paced enough to keep the reader interested, while not flying over any important details. The characters, even from the first chapters, seem to each be developing personal traits and attributes, which definitely help the reader feel more personalized about them. This is really my first time getting into any straight "romantic drama", so it really says something that this caught my eye. I can't wait for you to continue, and I will definitely by recommending this to friends. Best wishes!

This is a very good start! Your dialogue flows nicely. It gives a sense as to the nature of the characters. I like how short Christopher's end of the conversation is because it really translates the idea of him being in a hurry. Having the setting in the coffee shop instead of at his home was a nice touch.

The main thing I really enjoy is that you have allowed for the relationship of employer and employee to develop instead of diving right into something more sexual like a lot of writing tends to do. It allows for the story to seem more believable.

I can't wait to see where this story goes and how Christopher's & Emma's relationship unravels.

I rather enjoy not having much of a summary and being able to just jump right into it! I love the characters' interactions so far. I can't wait to read more from you! :)
