Arg... Boys... Arg. i completely feel for Alison. it's a shitty situation and an escape is never easy to find. Even if Gerard is right he didn't need to run away. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Finally caught up! Sadly I've been having to neglect the internet lately. But i'm so happy I had time to read this today! I think this (the last chapter especially) Is really well done. Everything is always back and forth and you never really know what Gerard is going to do. He's sweet and perfect then the next minute he's a huge asshole! It does keep a reader wondering! Though I think Mikey is going to start shoving his way back in now that Gerard is *kind of* out of the picture.

Oh my goodness, sorry for the late comment but oh my gosh! I can't believe what happened to Alison's mother! My heart actually dropped into my stomach when I read the scene and my heart broke for the poor girl! And oh geez, I want to smack Gerard! To me I feel like he's being hypocritical about the whole kissing thing! I mean he says 'lonely people kiss' and makes it seem like nothing when he kisses Alison but when she wants that he makes it a big deal, claiming that it was different with her and then saying "lord knows I want to". To me he's basically fallen into his own thought about girls of how they 'can't distinguish the difference' but doesn't want to admit that to himself. I felt really horrible for Alison, because when she needed him most, to have him giver the peace she gave him when he needed it, Gerard just ran away. Damn it Gerard what's going on in that head of yours?! However, I think the one good thing that came out f all this was that she and Mikey finally connected, even if only a little and I'm actually curious as to how Gerard will react to seeing them together, I mean sure in the past it was a normal thing but things are different now so I wonder if he'll be jealous? Interesting....please update soon, I really wanna see what will happen next! And thank you for the quick update it made me really happy!

Oh God, this was intense. I'm glad Gerard was there with her, he was actually quite nice to her and I hope everything's okay with her mother.

Holy cow! My heart really ached for Gerard this chapter, sure the kissing made me all giddy and smile but...I couldn't help but feel upset when he said "I won't be your mistake" which sucks because Alison actually does like Gerard. When he was crying I just wanted to cuddle him up and never let him go! But I'm happy being with Alison makes him feel better, plus all the kisses are well welcomed I'm sure. Ha! I just have to wonder though of it was really just 'one of those days' like Gerard said, because we all have our off days, or it was something bigger he didn't want to 'bother' Alison with? Plus it must have sucked, even if only a little for Gerard to have thought she was embarrassed being seen with him, which thankfully isn't true. As for Mikey and Clarissa, I'm actually happy that se was making an effort to get to know Alison and want to be friends with her, I kind of whisk she'd return the favor because maybe then she and Mikey could hang out more? But Mikey also needs to make an effort to too. I wonder what her mother will say when she gets home...damn. Once again AWESOME chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next!!!!

I think Mikey does need to make more of an effort to try and bridge the gap. In saying that, I like how you give little glimpses into Mikey's reaction to Ali spending time with Gerard; he obviously still cares about her, which makes me more angry at him!
Gerard is a such a sad soul in this. He's conflicted about what he wants, and what he thinks he deserves. I also think he believes he's more broken than he is - he just needs to let a bit of happiness into his life, and maybe Alison can be that.

I'm finally caught up! lol Work has been such a bitch! I haven't been able to read or write much, but I'm so happy I got the time! And chapter 15 KILLS!!! I was so sad! I wanted to cry with him even though I don't even really know what the hell his problem is (Most likely loneliness, drugs, loss etc.) BUT STILL. And that song is pretty perfect for this lol Can't wait for an update!

Okay so excuse me while I spazz out!! THIS. STORY. IS. AMAZING!!!!! I just found it yesterday and read all the way through! I apologize for not commenting earlier but things came up and then you updated and I freaked out! So this comment is to make up for not commenting until now! Sorry if I'm scatterbrained during this! Ha! Okay so first off, I actually feel bad for Alison because having a friendship like hers and Mikey suddenly start to just crumble is horrible, and I'm sure everyone has experienced that at least once in their lives. I LOVE the way this story is laid out and written with such dynamic characters!! I really appreciated that Mikey's girlfriend tried to keep Alison and Mikey's relationship in tact but I'm just happy she found Gerard, not only as this story is aimed at the two of them but that she found someone else to not feel so horribly alone. However, that doesn't mean I didn't want to smack Gerard for just ditching her at that party! Especially after just kissing her! Ugh..even if he did have a valid reason. As for Alison's mother, she confuses me. I mean she goes from hardly being home to suddenly becoming a protective mother, and while I do understand her maternal instincts I don't think it was right the way she basically just lashed out at her daughter. I also wonder what happened with her mother's personal life for her to be home more often, is it good or bad? And oh good lord those rumors at school make me hate everyone! Just leave the poor girl be! But it looks like Gerard has a stalker, shizznit! AND CAN WE JUST TALK A OUT THE LATEST CHAPTER?! OH MY GOD I HAD BUTTERFLIES ALL THROUGHOUT!!!! I wasn't expecting them to kiss again whatsoever, I was expecting more fighting, cussing, and tears but it was a fantastic surprise!! I actually don't doubt that Gerard is lonely with the life he leads, as well as for Alison, but I honestly do hope they share more 'lonely people kisses'!!!! Gerard seems like a laid back and nice guy, I just don't understand why he is the way he is though, does it have something to do with something that happened in the past or has he always just been this way? Well with tall that out f my say stem I'm going to read that chapter again and flip out, again. So excuse me! Hahahaha!! This is one of my favorite chapters so far!! I roomie you'll hear from me from now on and please update again soon! I cannot wait to see what happens between these two crazy kids next!!!!
