This was great I honestly didn't see that coming whoah. I'd think she'd been murdered this whole time. I feel so bad for both Gerard and elfaine it must be horrible to think you know so much about someone and miss something so huge. Your story is one of the most unique I've read in a while keep this up ! Thank you for updating.

I'm really glad you're enjoying this, it means a lot, especially as it's, like, the first thing I'll have ever completed :')

Whether it has a happy ending or not, I am planning to write a sequel! And I'm really excited to write about my characters growth as it's going to be set a fair few years on from where this story is going to end :)

Thanks so much! I'm glad this is giving off that vulnerable vibe, in a sort of way it is what I was going for, although not intentionally at first, but I've really gotten to know this character better than I have done with any of my characters before, and, yeh, I'm so happy you're enjoying it :)

I'm sorry for not leaving a comment for so long, I've been busy and away from Mibba for a while.

Oh god, I don't even know where to begin, the way their relationship evolved is just perfect. Real, raw and unique. It almost feels like poetry to me. :)
The way you put their emotions into words makes me feel the way they do, it makes me feel vulnerable...

I just love Elfie and the constant struggle with herself and her feelings, how everything is always far from perfect and how she complicates everything. :)

I can't believe this story is about to end, I don't want that and not only because I'll miss reading this, but also because I have the feeling its not going to end well. There's something about Martha that bugs me and knowing that they're probably about to find out what happened worries me.

Yea, when I re-read the first couple of chapters back to myself I can understand why, but I'm so glad you're enjoying it now! It's my first attempt at writing in a very long while, and this is also a new method of writing for me. I used to write in past tense but now I'm finding that writing in present tense is a lot more fulfilling - it's literally as if I'm writing down all my own thoughts and experiences.

Thank you again, I hope that when I update the rest of this story it is just as enjoyable. :)

I will admit, I wasn't drawn in, in the beginning. But I've just read this through to the most recent chapter, and I am hooked.
I don't know how to explain it, but your style of writing is unique and it was a bit to get used to, but now I love it.
Elfie and Gerard are just so raw and honest, it... it really gets to me. I can feel it in my chest and it's just... Indescribable really. I feel connected, on a personal level and that is something I haven't felt for a long time.
It just feels, so, so real.
The development of Elfie and Gerard, the disinterest in Martha's apparent 'suicide'... it's real, and feels tangible.
Bravo. Bravo to you.

Wow! All I can say is wow. The ending is so raw and full of emotion it leaves me speechless each time I read it. First and foremost, I must say how much I enjoy your writing style. You don't dwell on the spoke words between people but capture the general feeling with excellent pose. Second, I love the depth you have taken her character to. I feel for her in every chapter. Can't wait for the next one.

Ugh. It's 3.30 in the morning but I had to keep reading this. I've seen it around a few times now and finally got into the mood to read it. This is dark and I quite like dark. Their relationship development feels real which is nice. I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses :)
