Wooo I just finished reading this! Firstly, incredible work! This amazing world that you have created never fails to amaze me, and the second I start reading again, no matter how long I've been away, it's still just as exciting to return to. All the plot twists really keep you on your toes! I was suspicious of April and her husband, and it was a major shock to read of them using the grandparents to earn the group's trust before robbing them. Hopefully we'll get to find out what happens to them! (and hopefully find out that they met their maker ;)

When James, Cory, Hector and Daniel first came back, so many things were running through my mind. I initially thought that James and Daniel had stayed behind, or they were both dead, or by some crazy luck, Daniel had found Audrey's parents and brought them with them. I had a suspicion something would happen to Daniel upon their return, but dang, his death crushed me, especially after reading the aftermath of Audrey and listening to the song you included. Really pulls the whole thing together nicely!

I love stories that make me emotional for the characters, I love how involved it feels to read this story and I cannot wait to start the next book! Amazing writing, as always!

PS: I watched that short film 'Cargo' and omg, I bawled at the ending lol. It is a beautifully tragic representation of how far a father is willing to go to protect his children, even after death. I rewatched it a few more times and noticed the subtle details and it made it even more unique, like how he knew he was going to die, so he was collecting guts to use as bait for his zombie-fied self to keep moving forward until someone discovered his daughter. Brilliant film!

I completed Skin & Spirit last month. I've posted the next book in the series, Blood & Guts. I just posted chapter seven for that yesterday.

Where have you been? I just realized looking at the littlw last updated thing it's been a month! So crazy, I wanna know what's going on!

I'm glad you've decided to change their grieving proces. I like that we actually see James crying for Daniel this time. I've wanted to ask you about Alex but i think i already got my answer in this chapter.
And of course i will be there for the next book.

Girl, I have missed you! I'm glad you were able to catch up. One of my biggest fears with posting some of those chapters close together was that some chapters would get missed. As for where I come up with this stuff, my imagination is wild. I have so many ideas floating around in there that it literally runs my life. I listen to soundtrack music when I'm in the car, so I'm constantly picturing different book scenes.

If you ever have questions about what's happened or what's going to happen, just shoot me a message. I don't mind talking about things that haven't happened yet. I've taken some events out, removed characters entirely, and recreated some people. I use the original draft more as an outline now and completely rewrite each chapter.

I still need to watch the entire Fast & Furious films. I've seen three of them, but not in order. The new one looks so good! I keep telling my husband that we need to have a marathon, haha.

I haven't updated Steampunk Zombie since last month, but I do plan on continuing it. My goal is to update 1-2 chapters a month for Steampunk Zombie and 1-2 chapters a week for Blood & Guts. Hopefully I can keep to that! Now that my son is a toddler, he's very active and makes it close to impossible to write.

So i had 23 chapters to catch up with.
The one chapter were Daniel said that Roman Should have never been born. Wow, if i was Audrey i don't think i could ever forgive him for that. Even though he didn't mean it, he stil said it.
Cory and spiders I love Cory.
I thought Lainey's death was sad but Harry's death was just awful.
I like James's playful side.

Haha i'm exactly the same, i also pause movies/series to look up what happens next. I actually did that today while watching the fast and the furious movies. I had never seen those before but i saw a trailer in the movie theather last week and now i wanted to see that movie but i hadn't seen the previous ones.
And you have no idea how many times i've wanted to ask you stuff about the books. Many times i've wanted to ask you if something that happend in the previous version happens in this one.

Oke back to the book. Well the pregnant zombie was scary or the fetus. That part would have been really creepy on-screen. How do you come up with these things?
I got teary eyed at the part were Daniel died. I also feel bad for James for having to put a knife in his friend to stop him from turning.

So after reading all those chapters i can't believe there's only one more to go for this book. I've just subscribed for Blood & Guts. btw the wolf with the hands; Hemlock Grove. i've reconised it, it freaked me out then and it still does now.
I aso need to catch up on Steampunk Zombie since you've updated it but i will have to re-read it first because i can't actually remember it. But that will probaly happen tomorrow since it quite late right now.

But how can you leave us hanging with that bomb you just dropped??? I need to feel happy again!! Jeez you're too good!!

I know! It's why it took me a little longer to post the chapter. I've spent eight years with Daniel so it waa very emotional to let him go.

I literally had tears running down my face when I read this update. I knew it was coming, but it still got me. Daniel is dead. My heart breaks for Audrey, Aaron and James.

Thank you! And I do remember you from the original! I've heard that from a lot of people; that they binge read the first two books. It feels so good to have my writing enjoyed that much. It's definitely driving me to write. I've posted so much faster in the past month than I ever have before. It's been crazy! I really enjoy writing the bits with Cory. I know in the original version, people hated both Daniel and Audrey. I agree that Daniel is still hard to love, but I'm trying to give them both some redeemable qualities. In the original books, everyone's personality and dialect was too similar. I'm trying to switch things up a bit.

I'm in love with this entire series! I remember reading back in 2007 and fell in love with it. Haha. I'm glad it's back. I read the first two books in the matter of two days. I freakin love Cory! Haha. Can I be honest and say I both hate and love Daniel and James. They both love Audrey, but it's heart breaking seeing both of them getting hurt because of her. Ugh! Anyways, can't wait to read future updates. :)

So glad you updated this story! Its so amazingly good but I still don't like Daniel. I feel as if he is emotionally abusive to Audrey and I want to kick him in the teeth. So way to go on making very realistic characters.

Haha, I know! I'm actually working on an update right now! I'm not sure James could handle all of us.

All these updates are my own personal heaven!! Can we all just marry James already?

Awww, thank you! I'm hoping to post a new chapter soon! I've dedicated this week to work on a few of them! I'm so glad you like this story! It's my baby.

Please update soon!!! I've read all three stories in less than two weeks losing countless hours of sleep. I'd have read it faster but I work too much. Anyway, point is, I've had this story going for two weeks and now suddenly I'm left with no new chapter to read. This makes me sad. Withdrawal will kick in in about four hours. I will die. This is such a freaking amazing story and I need more!! Keep up the amazing work and pretty please update soon! Long live James!!!

Daniel would be my choice. Wonder if James will let it slip and drive a wedge between them. I could only hope.
