That's gotta be the shock of a lifetime for them. Well, right behind their friend coming back from the dead and telling them he's basically a time traveller. And while it's weird circumstances for all of them, poor Johnny seems to have gotten the short end of the stick - as usual. Lol. I'd say Brian's at a close second, though, waking up injured like that.

This is gonna be so much fun!!!!!!

Thanks. I was pretty happy with the sandwich metaphor myself. Oh yes, things are about to get straight up weird.

Zack's sandwich metaphor was gold. Lol. And Johnny is still rolling with the punches. Even Matt and Bri are getting closer to solid ground. But I can sense Jimmy won't let them gain their equilibrium for too long. I can't wait for what's next!

WOW, I loved this update! Everyone's reactions were priceless but I'll admit that I teared up with Matt's the most, I can almost imagine that's how it would be if it indeed really did happen. But this was awesome and so worth the wait! I'm with Brian still though, I'm confused as ever with how Jimmy can basically time travel but not.lol anyway great update! <3

I love that Zack is more or less like "Got it" and Matt is more focused on the simple fact that Jimmy is back. Johnny probably took it in stride, seeing as he was high at the time. Lol. But I'm with Brian. I'd have a million and one questions, and would likely be more confused the further we progressed. I can't wait for them to all be back together again...and I'm super excited for what's to come! The alternate realities concept is great and offers so many options for this story!

Wow, thank you so much! I have agonized over chapters 2, 3, and 4, because I feel like Brian is so much needier than the other guys lol. You will see soon! So glad you're enjoying!

It would be frustrating for the simple fact that it's incomprehensible if you haven't experienced it. So I have sympathy for Brian (and I'm sure I will for the other guys as well). But honestly, it sounds nice. Lol. Getting out of reality for a while, not having a care in the world. I guess I can understand why Jimmy came back, but man, that would have been a hard choice. And oh...if Johnny's anxious now, wait until he comes face to face with his "dead" friend!

I loved this. The way that Brian was calm and then began getting so impatient with Jimmy's answer. The way Jimmy was trying to explain things. Freaking amazing work and I can't wait for the next chapter! Loving this more & more!

It took alot of brain power, but I figured it out. And by the way, if you haven't seen the alert yet, I sent you a message.

I can imagine there is no way to shorten it because the questions have to be asked and the explanation can't be summarized or skipped over. Lol. You've set yourself up for some lengthy dialogue! But I have learned some readers - the real invested ones - actually do like longer chapters (within reason), so don't stress yourself too much if the word count climbs like that You have a lot of ground to cover, and I personally would rather have more than not enough, you know?

Just my ten cents, as someone who started obsessing over if my chapters were too long and went through a phase of not going over 1000 words.
