I completely agree with oatmeal774. It was perfect, and it wasn't just making sure everything was roses and puppies and perfect. As much as I love happy endings, the overly sweet, saccharine ones really piss me off. But this was perfect.
It's a shame you're not going to do a sequel, but I understand - it would definitely be cruel to put Gabe and Bee through any more drama.
Would you do me a favour, though? When you post your new story, would you send me a message or something to let me know? I would love to read it, because I know what a good author you are.

Aw I am going to miss this story. I think it had the perfect ending. Really I do, The last chapter (before the epilogue) was done well and who cares if it could be considered cliche, it was written really well and I loved it! The epilogue was a perfect ending :)

Ah! That's a great ending! (some of the stories I've read lately had extremely dissappointing/frustrating endings) I loved the story and that was a great ending that really seems to fit the characters and the story. I'm kind of sad I won't get to geek out every time I get a subscription notice from this story anymore, but that's not going to sink in for another little while, I'm still too happy about the ending. :) (bravo!)

SORRY HOLLY! Not meaning to have conversations in your comments or anything. You forgive me, right? 'Cause, you know, if you don't, I AM Pete Wentz, and well... I get blamed for a lot of things. Meaning I am capable of a lot of things. Just, you know, subtle threat right there. In case you didn't see it. Right there. You know you love it though.

Now, I was just finishing up my story comment before when my stupid computer overheated and I lost it all. Which makes me very sad, because I really hate rewriting story comments, because I always feel like the second is way more half-assed than the first, and that just makes me feel like I'm cheating the writer out of a good comment. >.>

So I'm gonna try my best to make this comment to the same standard as the first one.

Firstly, I must say that this whole chapter just had me going like this the entire time: OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD.

I know you wish you saw me spazzing at my computer screen, but really, I'm quite glad nobody did. That would have been a tad awkward!

Well... one more time. OH MY GODDD.

She ended up with Gabe! Go Gabe! Hooray for Gabe! Gabe to the rescue! Well, not so much with that last one... considering he didn't really save her or anything, but it sounded impressive, alright? Well, he was 'to the rescue' earlier in the story, just not at this exact moment. Psht, don't fault my logic, I got all the answers. -awkward cough- NEXT SUBJECT BEFORE I MESS THIS UP AGAIN.

I feel really bad for Will, actually. Like, more bad than I expected to. Or, to use proper English, worse. Rather than more bad. Because more bad sounds funny. But really, I think he dealt with things surprisingly well, and that just made me feel worse (I do things right, yeah) for him. It's just like -- aww, he took it so damn well, he really does deserve someone good in his life. Like Caleb for instance. Just to do some hinting there. Don't get me wrong though, I'm very glad she ended up with Gabe. :tehe: I just have a little more sympathy for Will than I expected.

I reckon she and Will would make awesome friends though. They just seem like they would have an awesome friend-type relationship, you know? 'Cause he seems really accepting of her and all, and I can just imagine her totally stressing out and going to him and him helping and her hugging him and awww. Kinda like, a secondary Caleb figure, just not half as awesome.

Does that make any sense? Because frankly, I don't know if you get what I'm talking about because this is so rambly. Plus any sense of sentence structure I had has gone out the freaking window. I'm just going all train-of-thought on your ass, to be honest.

God, I can't believe it's the end. This makes me really, seriously sad. How could this possibly end? It's been so long, it's like, a total constant in my life and it can't just END and leave me here without any more Bee to worry about, or Gabe to love, or Caleb to laugh at! I love this story so much, I can't believe there's only one more chapter to go. ONE. One is a mighty small number. Perhaps not as small as zero, or negative five, but still a small number. And if there were negative five chapters left, I'd probably just kill myself. LOSING chapters, seriously, that would be totally lame, and also extremely off topic.

God, I'm sorry, that was a horrible ramble, I should really just STOP now.

I love Cassandra, she's such a nice mother. She's like a grown up Caleb, only a girl. It's so cute.

And Vicky-T made me laugh. Psht, don't apologise for your yelling, the girl really needed to hear it.

AND I TOTALLY LAUGHED AT SUAREZ. I LOVE SUAREZ AND I LOVE RYLAND AND I LOVE NATE AND AAAH I LOVE THEM ALL, DON'T LET THEM LEAVE ME! -sobs hysterically-

I love this story so much, I don't wanna see it go. But when something has to end, it has to end, and it's better this way I suppose. -sniffles- At least I get to see how they all end up. Having something concluded is better than not. I guess in a way, I am quite glad to see the end. Odd stuff right there.

One thing that annoys me with a 'cliche' is that a girl will instantly fall in love with the boy STRAIGHT away. But with this story, she's always loved him, just never realized.

EXTREMELY happy with chapter. I loved it! =] I'm sad to see it ending, because I love it almost as much as you do - it's my favourite story on this site, believe it or not.
