There are so many things I want to say about this story, about this chapter. I happen to know what Frank is going through right now, only with different circumstances. I know the hurt and pain and even though I was able to hold my self together long enough to check my un-read stories and read this, I wasn't able to stay strong forever.

You have this amazing knack for diving into emotions and keeping the right temperature and level or reality in every scene you write.

“It hurts Gerard. It‘s been hurting for too long.”

“I want to take your pain away Frank, believe me.” he answers earnestly, imagining the million impossible ways he could make Frank happy and healthy again.

“Then take it.” Frank replies suddenly, bringing his legs up on the mattress and slowly leaning towards Gerard. “Just for thirty seconds.” his eyelids slide shut as he moves closer.

“What, no! Frank. That‘s not what I meant.” Gerard says, jumping out of the way in shock. Frank’s eyes rip open and the hurt and desperation is swimming on the surface of his eyes once more.

I almost wanted to shoot Gerard there. Through everything Frank was going through Gerard still doesn't realize that what Frank has isn't going to fix itself if he teases Frank with visits and up close and personal touches. Frank's in love, and no matter what Gerard says, I think he always will be. At least from my experience, even as bad as it is, my love gives me that little somehting to get me through the week or two until he finds a new girlfriend.

I could almost say the same, and even as I sit here I can't stress enough on how amazing this chapter was. That line just tugged at my heart, he had the guts to say all the things I wish I could, almost giving me a little confidence.

I think that last thing I'm going to say in here is, if Frank gets through this with nothing more than some battle wounds; he'll be my hero- and more.

Thanks for writting such an amazing story. I really needed to read this at the moment.

so.... I have 2 things to say. First. I really, really missed this story and second...... I cryed.

As for my theroy... I think that G will crack, the day of or the day before the wedding (G and new girl are engagedm right?) Or, as has been said above, G will marry her, but then G and Frank will have an affair

I've been a shitty reviewer lately, and I think right now more than ever 'cause I need to leave in a few. But since I know I procrastinate too much I decided maybe it was better to write a shitty review and later make it better than to not write one at all.

This has my heart aching all over again; the kind of hollow feeling that compresses your chest until it feels like you can't breathe. It's really the first time Frank's opened up and ripped Gerard's eyelids apart so that he could see the damage within his skeletal ribcage; the damage in his heart. The hunger in his heart.

And goddamnfuckinghell, just seeing them both shatter feels like a car wreck. I've come to believe that Ana never really leaves the minds she's already inhabited, it's a matter of making her a blur or ignoring her. But without something else to think of, to hold on, it must be so easy to just go back to not eating. Frank doesn't really have anything to hold onto, does he?

In a way, I'm hoping for this to be another cascade of emotions just as its prequel, and I'm pretty sure it already is. The situation is complex, and having you as an author assures me that you won't let that slip away easily, nor will you add melodramatic problems with melodramatic solutions. Take your time with updating, and I'll make sure to read the other stories you've posted when I have the time.

Why is Gerard with that woman? I don't like her. I thought she was a bitch last time, and I still think so now. GET RID OF HER, lol.

This was nicely written, btw. I love how there was that phrase from the song and it was their thing, and Frank started crying...seriously, why did Gerard come over if he was just going to screw everything up? Now Frank is worse than before. Didn't Gerard hear what Frank said about giving up? (Don't do it Frank!!!)

I liked this. Make Gerard see reason again, and kill the bitch, m'kay?

The chapter was so beautiful, but sad. I loved it.
I know Gee isn't going to be able to resist Frankie forever ~ Gerard is definitely going to become enchanted by Frank's inner and outer beauty, so much that he'll forget all about Maria (hopefully!) :XD
This story is definitely one of my favourites (along with its gorgeous prequel, of course).

After subscribing to your amazing story A Brand New Mourning, I totally had to go check out your other stories. I just finished reading Starving For His Touch, and I'm up-to-date and subcribed to this wonderful sequel. And I'm almost speechless about how amazed I am/was by these stories. They're so beautiful, unique, and well-written. I was so sad at the end of the prequel, so i was very relieved and excited to find this sequel.

I don't like Gerard. At all. He gets a new girlfriend, and then expects Frank to just let him back in and help. Gerard needs to get a brain. He is the worst person to help Frank.
