Hush Hush

Capítulo Trece

"Sirius how are you going to carry her to bed? You know that the girl's staircase is jinxed." Lily voiced.

"What do you suggested if you're so smart." Sirius snapped back.

It appeared that Jade fell asleep on Sirius' chest after he calmed her worries away. Lily walked in after supper to see the both of them cuddling in the common room and Lily had a fit waking Sirius up. Pissing him off even more Lily was spewing snarky threats as to how Sirius better not hurt Jade if anything were to happen.
"She is a grown girl, Lily. I'm sure she can take care of herself. And who are to say that nothing can happen anyway?"

"I'm her best friend, Sirius. That's who I am and I care about her."

"What would ever make you think that I don't care about her just as much, if not more, than you!"

Jade jumped, startled at Sirius' raised voice and strong vibrations from his chest.

"Hm, que paso?" *What happened?*

Lily looked aggravated, glaring at Sirius and Sirius ignored her concerned with Jade.

"Nothing. Are you alright, Trix?" Running a hand through her hair, thumbing her scalp to comfort her.

"Si, si. I'm fine. What was going on? I heard yelling."

Lily softened her face and looked towards Jade. "Nothing too terrible, dear. Just a disagreement between Sirius and I."

Jade sighed, "Can't either of you get along for a day? I don't want bad blood in the family. It's not fun or right."

Lily and Sirius glanced at each other slumped their heads in shame.

"You're right, Jade. We've made quite fools out of ourselves." Lily turned to Sirius. "I apologize."

Sirius' eyes widened and glanced between Lily's and Jade's expectant gazes. He know they wanted him to return the favor.

He rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand (his other around Jade) and stammered out, "I'm... Sorry too."

Lily looked relieved and Jade grinned like a Cheshire cat brimming with pride. It take s a lot for Sirius to apologize about anything.

Lily nodded in approval, "Well, good night to you both. Jade I expect you upstairs in 15 minutes."

Jade shook her head in amusement, "Yes, mother dearest."

Lily left them in silence as Jade's comment reminded her of her mother. She put her head in her hands and took a deep breath. Sirius rubbed her back soothing any knots in her back but creating more in her stomach. Jade took notice of this feeling and glanced at Sirius. He smiled reassuringly and kissed her temple.

"Bed time." He whispered in her ear and guided her to the staircase, turning to her and opening his arms wide wanting a hug. Jade laughed and embraced tightly, never wanting to leave. She combed through the back of his head lovingly and squeezed before kissing him on the cheek and walking up to bed.

"Tener buenos sueños, Trix." Sirius whispered.

Jade whispered back. "Sweet dreams, padfoot."

[H&H]

"Jade, wake up!"

Jade fell out of her bed and groaned. "Mierda!"*Shit!*

Lily busted out laughing from Jade's bed, she didn't expect for Jade to fall off from her bed out of surprise.

Jade sighed, "And you get on the boys bullying why?"

That shut her up as she glared at Jade. "Waking you up is not bullying!"

"How about waking me up violently?!"

"It was an accident!"

Jade suspiciously looked over her best friend and noticed Lily wasn't wearing her uniform.

"Pause. Why aren't you wearing your uniform?"

Lily looked down and remembered why she so rudely woke Jade up in the first place.

"The reason why I woke you up. We have a hogsmead trip today." Lily instantly brightened up while Jade was still confused.

"Hogsmead? Que hogsmead? Que eso?"*What is that?*

"It's a village near the school. Full neat things, you'll like it."

Mind you that Jade was still lying on the floor with her comforter wrapped around her and Lily was explaining this to her from above, on Jade's bed.

"What time do we leave?" Jade wondered, not really knowing if she would have time to get ready.

Lily checked her wrist watch and smiled. "No worries, you have plenty of time to get ready and looked all dolled up for Sirius."

Jade's mouth dropped at Lily and tried to unwrap herself from the comforter, which turned out to be easier said than done.

"Wait." She struggled to gain her balance. "Said the girl who captured James' heart and soul."

"But feels nothing back."

"Oh you will."

"Wanna bet on it?" Lily looked smug.

"Hell yea."

They shook on it and separated to continue on their morning routine. Jade brushed her teeth and picked her outfit for the day. It was just the end of September so the weather was delightful.
