Gerard married the wrong woman 5 years ago. Now, divorced, broke and utterly alone, he tries to escape his hard life the only way he could think of, suicide. When it fails, he and the rest of his family realizes the biggest mistake was losing each other.
Gerard soon realizes, however, that someone had taken his place in his old house, and not only that, he finds out he had a son he was never told about, and the strange man was raising the boy as if he was the father of Gerard's son. An extra problem comes into play in the form of his son's beautiful and sweet babysitter, and the only person who can help him get his son, and his life on track.
