Fiona Garrett’s life, to put it simply, was plain in the simplest of ways. A bookworm as well as a wallflower, she was perfectly comfortable dwelling in the background while her attention-seeking older sister, Jade, basked under the radiating heat of the spotlight. One morning, she was jolted awake from a dream to end all dreams. Left both distraught and pensive, she was even more surprised to wake with a shell-shocking surprise that left both her sister as well as her mother distressed to the point of near-madness.
Soon enough, Fiona found herself riding on an endless carousel that included unraveling the mysteries of her dream as well as questions behind Jade’s bizarre predicament while simultaneously facing the typical teenage monstrosities. More importantly, it was up to her to decide if they were merely puzzle pieces that were meant to be fitted together by a single connection that haunted them all, night and day; the connection that could make or break them all—the man that turned up everywhere.
