Hidden Hearts are Hard to Find
"So is it still a no?" he asked, pacing back and forth in front of me.
I stayed silent. Truthfully, I was lost for words. Situations like this don't usually occur in my life. Hell, it haven't really occurred at all--until now.
"So?" he asked again, sounding more anxious.
I sighed. "I don't know, Christian. Maybe yes..."
His face fell as soon as he heard.
"...or no." I had hoped he wouldn't hear me. But he did
"Charlie, you're gonna have to trust me on this one and let me into your heart."
