Breathe

I was so happy that Meaghan and Angelo could finally have their love without being judged! We had a little celebration dinner at Angelo and Meaghan’s which after that I started to feel quite sick, maybe I was coming down with something… I wasn’t quite sure what was happening but I just didn’t feel like myself and Chris could see it as well,
“Babe you need to get checked up” Chris said as he was holding my hair up since I was throwing up
“Yeah right” I said once I finished throwing up. Chris picked me up and transported us to the creature doctor centre and went up to the receptionist,
“Hi I would like to make up an appointment for my wife” Chris said
“Name?” she asked looking me Chris and I up and down
“Lolita Cerulli” Chris said sounding a bit off
“The doctor will see you soon” she said then he dragged me away.
“What is wrong with you?” I questioned
“Remember when me and the guys had their guys night?” he asked, I nodded
“well the guys went to some club where different kinds of creatures go to and Ryan introduced me to this whore which tried to come onto me but I ended up leaving with the guys, well that receptionist is the whore I’m talking about” I nodded and I could smell something different about her, she smelt very off.
After wait over an hour the doctor called out my name, we made our way to his room and we sat down,
“How can I help you?” the doctor asked
“My wife has been sick for a couple of weeks and we aren’t sure what it is” Chris said
“Have you been sexually active?” he question, I looked down blushing as I heard Chris answer the doctor with a yes.
“Can you please stand up Mrs Cerulli?” I stood up and he started to feel around my stomach area,
“Ahhhh” he said sitting back down then I sat down,
“Mrs Cerulli is pregnant” the doctor said, I looked over to Chris and he was grinning widely
“She is!?” he questioned
“Yes, probably around a few weeks but as you know vampire babies do grow very fast” the doctor said,
“I will be needing you to book your first appointment at the receptionist area” Chris and I both nodded both dreading to go back to the woman who tried to get with my husband
“Before we leave can I ask what the receptionist is?” Chris asked
“A siren” the doctor said opening the door. We walked out then I asked;
“What is a siren?”
“You know… A mermaid but they are more trouble” Chris said
“What can they do?” I asked starting to be wary
“Not sure to be exact but not to worry I won’t let anything bad happen to you beautiful” Chris said kissing me.
I saw the receptionist look at me with disgust once we walked back to the desk,
“Can I help you?” she asked rudely looking towards me
“Firstly, we would like to book an appointment for a pregnancy ultrasound and secondly, I would love to see you stop looking at my wife like that” Chris said.
After the doctors we transported back home and sat down on the couch,
“I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad!” Chris said holding me
“I know, I can’t believe there is something in there” looking down towards my stomach.
