Madeline Marshall has the body of a ballerina, the mind of a scholar, and the mouth of a sailor. She's finally living out her dream of being in a large city, surrounded by unfamiliar faces and buildings. Though, the change of scenery hadn't changed Madeline. She's stayed the same spunky girl everyone knew. Though, she finally landed her dream job in a stereotypical, big-city coffee shop, but she's just binding time until she has enough money to find her own Neverland. Everything seems to be going as planned when she meets Alex Dawson.

Alex Dawson is everything that Madeline hates. He has tattoos, wastes his life away in a band, and is a total jack ass. He's sarcastic, bitter, and not the least bit merciful. That's why Madeline hates him; they are practically the same person. Arguments, kisses, and tears all shed over the beginning; a large rasberry chi tea. .
