Blair Kendrick has never been a simple girl. Her life has almost always been complicated and she never understood why until she fully grasped the concept of fame. At the tender age of seventeen Blair has little idea of who she really is beyond being a Kendrick.

With a family built and broken on the foundation of fame, Blair has given up on her parents' rocky marriage that has plagued her and her brother Samuel for as long as she could remember. It's consumed most everything, even Samuel himself. Blair can only see a summer in a hidden California town as their final demise, but it's times like these that change people forever.
