Dangerous 911 Rant

Dangerous 911 Rant Calling 911 shouldn't be dangerous but complaining about fast food to a 911 operator on the other side of the line, certainly can. Jean Fortune, a 66 year old man from Florida, did exactly that and was arrested for misusing the emergency phone service.

"You cannot dial 911 because you are unhappy with your burger, ok. I know you don't seriously think that the police need to make Burger King give you food faster", the operator replied.

Jean wasn't satisfied with the time needed for the meal to complete. 15 minutes was too much for him.

"If it takes 15 minutes to cook, it takes 15 minutes to cook, ok. You don't need to call 911", the operater says, trying to calm down the angry buyer.

The other reason for the 911 rant was a lack of lemonade. The Burger King he wanted to eat at didn't sell it.

The frantic man spent a few minutes arguing with the operator yet he didn't even place an order. Eventhough the operator told the man that he could just drive away, he refused and waited for the police. Since he misused the emergency line, he was arrested and formally charged with the crime. His new homework is to appear in court.
