Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Delivers Baby Boy
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz finally gave birth to a baby boy, named Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday 20th November 2008. According to people magazine, Bronx was born last night at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles weighing in at 7lbs 11oz (3.5kg) and is 20 and a half inches long.
Ashlee and and her husband, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz announced her pregnancy back in May, a few weeks after their wedding. When they announced it Ashlee said that she "would love to have a big family one day" and Pete said that he'd like "a big soccer team or a band!"
Throughout the pregnancy, the couple kept it zipped on most details, although denying the rumours that a rather huge Ashlee was due twins. In an interview with MTV at Total Finale Live on Sunday, Pete's bandmate and best friend Patrick Stump said he had no idea when the baby was due or what it was due to be called.
A spokesperson for Ashlee and Pete said: "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"
