Mods please stop the ATL selling out articles, there's a different one each week now.

They still try to meet fans and still care about the music, they have not sold out.

Man I wonder if The Beatles ever got this 40 years ago?

How can you even compare them to FOB by their album popularities? They are completely different bands, and its not their fault if their albums sold pretty much the same as the other band. The band doesn't control who buys their albums, their fans do. And ive seen enough of ATL sell out articles, since you actually dont know if thats true or not. No one but the band themselves know. I highly disagree with everyone who thinks they're sell outs, since sell out bands don't stay behind after shows to try their hardest to meet their fans. in my point of view, they dont care about the money. They care about the people.

    Oh for god's sake.
I'm not bad mouthing your article at all.
Just of the use of the word "sell out".
Basically, every band that makes money out of writing/playing music is a sell out.
    That's the real meaning.
So what if the band in question has become a hell of a lot more known, but shouldn't you be happy for them?

How can you say what a person is doing something for?

Unless you know their thoughts in some terrifying, dystopian, '1984' way then there is no way on this earth that anyone could say that a band had 'sold out'. They may have heard a change in the msic industry and liked it, and wanted to produce an album in that style. Key words: 'because they liked it', not necessarily because they saw money in it.

Of course, the latter may well be the reason, but the only person who can honestly say a band has 'sold out', is the band themselves.

Basically, if you're gonna think a band is a sell out don't listen to them.
It's that simple. Honestly, if the band doesn't consider them "sell outs" they're not sell outs.
As Alex said "If I'm up there playing songs I don't even like, then I'm a sell out." He's still up on stage playing songs he loves.

Can we please stop with the All Time Low sell out crap? Seriously? It's getting annoying because, the term sell out isn't even used properly anymore.

Christ almighty, has the world seriously run out of things to discuss on a WRITING site?

A band can not "sell out", they simply change. Fall Out Boy matured, as did Panic! at the Disco, and now All Time Low.
I'm sure we're going to have this same discussion when the new Paramore album comes out.
Sure, ATL has grown more "pop", but they are still the same four boys.
"We just want to play the music we love. We're a pop-punk band. Nothing more and nothing less." -Zack Merrick

Why can't everyone stop calling bands sellouts and just enjoy music?

    I don't think they're sellouts. They're just getting more well-known.

i also have to agree with filistata. Seriously if you think they have become sellouts then simply stop talking about them. Its either love them or hate them. Artists change all the time and its because THEY want to change.ATL is not sellouts .
and i know its not you who think they are but still...

ENOUGH WITH THE ALL TIME LOW SELLOUT ARTICLES. GOOD LORD.

If they are sellouts, who gives a crap? If you like the music, then you like the music, same goes for FOB. THE END. Why do these keep getting approved? We don't need 5000 articles talking about the same damn thing every week.
