I pleaded with them to rethink their plans for the "new" quizilla (I remember old quizilla!) and in return they deleted my account, I'm just glad that I up sticks and left in 2007.

Oh my god.

I left quizilla ages ago but I wrote my first stories on there. They weren't exactly great but I still felt attached to them. And now they're all gone :|

I'm one of the lucky ones. I type up all my stories (i have about six) on Word, and have them all saved to my computer. But when i think about all those authors who lost their stories...it's just not right. Quizilla should have warned people so they could at least save their stories or move them to another site. What they've done is not only wrong, but heartless. A lot of authors might give up writing because of this.
Quizilla, you suck! -_-

And to all the authors out there that lost your stories, dont give up! Give Quizilla a swift kick in the *** by continuing to write.

ALL my work on quizilla is gone. i think. they have gotten rid of all my stories, poems and all. The one thing i dont get is why they got rid stuff that was G rated. It was in the lines of the rules. so that means they got rid of some one elses stuff for no reason. isnt that agaisnt the law? getting rid of peoples work that was fine to have on the website

I know how you feel. I have a quizilla and I'm upset to. I had so many viewers and readers on quizilla. I have so many precious friends and message and banners people have made for me. I started crying when I realized what happened cause I am afraid that all my hard work that I had will be one day earsed from there and it would've been for nothing. Mtv should read this and realize what a big mistake they are making. The teens on quizilla are so upset by this that they are going to any means to have their voice spoken.

I have already backed up my stories. Took me forever to do but I did it. I hope MTV knows what the hell they did to quizilla. They have a lot of pissed off teens ranting on quizilla, facebook, twitter, etc etc. I hate MTV now for what they did

I HATE YOU MTV!!!

i came here from Quizilla after they really started changing things around, and now im glad i did. i am trying desperately to get some of my older stories that aren't saved to my flash drive off, but now it seems useless. Gah! Wish I had come in earlier to see this. Well, good luck to everyone else.

I'm really sad to see Quizilla go, I've been going on there for years. It's only recently that I start actually posting things up, just minor drabbles though. They weren't backed up; but it's no major loss for me. It's a big problem for all those who've written loads of stories and all that works just gone. I've checked back on the site a couple of times - it let me get to my profile the first time, so I closed the window and went back on to see if it was working only for it to redirect me to the MTV site.

The things I probably won't miss are the moderators - you have to be thirteen years or old, but you have to make sure that your story is suitable for those younger than that?

... I remember the baby Quizilla where the moderators didn't care if you posted vulgar stuff because you had to be over thirteen, where the layout was pretty much blue and white, and the memos at the top of the stories were, like, size 3 font so no one could read them XD

Ah well. I still have Fanfiction.net. And Lunaescence.net (well, when the sever's fixed). And now Mibba! ;D

I'm one of the many people that migrated over to mibba after Quizilla was taken over by nickelodian (sp?). I was one of the early people to cross over. I have to say that it was one of the best choices I've made for my writing. Looking back on what I did on quizilla makes me cringe now. I think the writers on mibba are a bit more experienced than those on quizilla, which exposed me to better teen and young adult work.

So, for the people that will most likely leave quizilla, coming here is definately gonna change their outlook on the site.

Quizzilla sucked big time and those moderators...its no surprise its going down. (ha! take that you rude monsters)
I am sorry though that some authors lost their work, I do hope they get it back somehow. I mean it's their responsibility!

Insanity's Artist: I said in the article that they briefly directed people to Neopets. They are currently redirecting people to MTV. Sorry about the confusion. :) Sadie

Man, I knew Quizilla would go down, but it still shocks me that it is.
I'll be sad to see it go, but you know, whatever.
Why are they directing people to NEOPETS?
That doesn't make any sense at all.. You don't even write anything on Neopets..

i can honestly say that without quizilla i ouldn't be the same person. years ago i was antisocial and had a very limted music case and an imagination that was caged. but then i found quizilla and begsan weriting stories and made many wonderful friends who introduced me to many bands like the decendants a7x etc. i began writing stories, lyrics and poems and it became my outlet. then after nicklodeon (sp?) bought it- it changed and i started reading stories on mibba. but at least teen nick still let you on the website. so many of my faveorite stories and friends of mine may be lost now. i feel really sorry for those people who poured their hearts out on the sight only for it to be lost by mtv.

I was about to continue my stories on there. But with the error page coming up, the site possibly being deleted, and my stories that may have been deleted, I've come to the conclusion that I won't have the chance to continue them. I don't have back-up to them and I'm quite lazy for doing so. But other than that, I'm not really bothered. Although, I do apologize for the many readers who do read my stories and do want me to continue. Quizilla, you lose. I don't think anybody wants to try you again if everyone's stuff is gone.

Oh my God. I used to be addicted to Quizilla. After they revamped it about two years ago, I can't remember exactly when, and stopped allowing people to design their own layouts for their stories, I sort of flitted over to Mibba. I promised myself I'd stay on Quizilla but, you know, it sucks now. So I didn't.

I feel really quite bad for the people who actually lost their work because they wrote everything within the site. I know that would kill me if I didn't have anything backed up.

Guys, calm down. It's most likely a glitch that has been created because they're redesigning the site. It's definitely not the end of Quizilla, MTV is making too much money off it with advertising atm...

What really infuriates me is that I was reading a really good story, one of my favourites, and they suddenly send me to MTV. And till i read this I didn't know what was happenning D=

They deleted my poem about a freaken butterfly. There was nothing remotely PG about it. Just as well I posted it here! But I lost a few poems I hadn't posted here because they were about depression and some of them (which weren't about self harm) HINTED on it.

I guess the only reason this makes me upset is that I had just begun to write something great with someone reading it. I didn't care about messages and ratings :D I just waned to know someone had looked at it and possibly had read it, that was enough for me.

It's bad when you're new and like something many people don't. I see alot of bandfics on here and sadly that's not what I write :/ I'll try my hardest and hopefully something good will come of it. I wish everyone that is still getting their stuff the best of luck, it'll be a fun ride here on out :]
