Britney Spears Loses Custody Of Kids

A court commissioner has awarded sole custody of Britney Spears' two sons, two-year old Sean Preston, and one-year old Jayden James, to ex-husband Kevin Federline on Friday. The 26 yer old star's visitation rights have also been suspended.

At around eight PM on Thursday, there was a dispute at Spears' house when she refused to return the kids to Federline. Police were called to her house to help settle the dispute, and it took nearly three hours to resolve the conflict. After she had given up her two sons, she was brought to a local hospital for medical treatment, and has remained hospitalized as of Friday. No crimes have been committed during the dispute, and there was no immediate threat to the children

Back in October, Federline had gained temporary custody of the two kids after Britney defied a court order, and was ordered to only have supervised visitations with her two kids. It has been said that there is a possibility that she will not be seeing her kids until she starts getting help for her troubled behavior, but until that time, Kevin Federline does have sole legal and physical custody of the two children.

A hearing was held, and the results were not expected to be released until Monday, but instead they were shortly after the hearing. Another hearing will be held on January 14th.
