I'm all for gay marriage, but you should cite your sources (for the hate crimes). It makes the article more accurate.

I completely support homosexuality. People shouldn't look at homosexuals any different than they look at heterosexuals.
I agree with Mad in the blood about the consensual incest. That can lead to some pretty bad stuff...

I'm not for gay marriage, though. It's kind of like a boys and girls bathroom. Marriage is for a man and woman, unions are for gay couples. I don't know, it's just my opinion.

And because love is love no matter what, I don't think that there should be anything wrong with that.

Do you support consensual adult incest? What about consensual adult polygamy? Don't use the love is love argument unless you're fully aware of its connotations.

For the record, I'm 100% for gay rights. Gay people are not hurting anyone, and therefore should not be compared to pedophiles or people who practice bestiality. Pedophiles are hurting children. People who practice bestiality are hurting animals. Gay people are hurting...no one.
It's only a matter of time before gay marriage becomes legal. And I'll be right here waiting with my girlfriend. :)

i don't really understand the view "it's fine, but not around me."
it's sort of contradictory, i think.
don't_be_a_witch, help me out? :]

I'm fine with gay people. Almost all of my friends are gay, bisexual, or lesbian.

My grandparents hate homosexuals. They think it's a sin that'll get you sent to hell. In my opinion that is just stupid.

My mom says she doesn't care. She always tells me if you're happy with who you're with, man or women, then who cares. As long as you're treating each other right it doesn't matter.

Homopobia is what made me question my Christian faith anyway because I believe in Gay rights. I thought I couldn't be Christian for supporting gay people. Homophobia is WRONG. So what if God made Adam and Eve, it's not wrong for Eve to be attracted to Linda and Adam to be attracted to Steve.

Awesome article.
Homophobia is so pointless.
Love is love. You can't help if you fall in love with somebody of the same sex.

You have the religious point of view a little wrong. My religion teacher believes that it's a choice people make to be gay, not the way they were born. Her reasoning is this: Decades ago, it was considered completely wrong to be gay. Now people treat it as "it's okay, it's the way you were born." Are we going to start accepting pedophilia or bestiality as well? Saying "it's okay, you were born that way, you can't help it"?

For the record, this is not my belief. But many people on this website don't understand a religious person's point of view on anything. They stereotype just as much as they tell other people not to.

Regarding the picture; How it's not a disease.
Don't hate me, but: Scientific studies have shown gay men having a chemical imbalance in their brains. This is somewhat similar to people who are bi-polar. It doesn't have to be treated, if you can handle what it does to you. So, yes, gay men and women are born that way. But even if there were a medication made for it, people wouldn't take it because there isn't anything wrong about being gay, and it won't mess you up physically.

i have 2 friends that are bi. theyve only told me over th summer, but im ok with it. I actually think i might be bi-curious. I think homophobia is stupid. after all even my grandmother doesnt like gays bi's or lesbians. so i cant tell her.

my mom on the other hand says it would be 'good for you, i support you' if i was bi, but she doesnt think i am, i obsess over boys too much. i just think about kissing girls sometimes, and what it would be like. i think it would be nice to have a girlfriend, but id still like to start off my love life with a guy, because im not used to thinking about crushing on girls.
