    i remember when i did this at school last year :)
    ima do it again, i just wish i was at school like last time so it could have a bigger impact on people. But since im still on break i'll be home alone =/ except for my aunt and step dad who won't bother to notice -___-

    Im a bisexual and i have to keep quiet, because i'd either: Get beat up or get thrown out of my house. I deff. plan on participating tommarow. Its not just for my friends who have gotten beat up for it but for the fear in my own self. Im happy.I hope alot of people participate.

    xXGreyWingsXx, the example in the last few paragraphs about the boy Lawrence is real. His death was all over the news. I haven't looked up an article about it, but if you wish, you may do so yourself.

    We all know some-one who's gay, and the fact is 9/10 people will think it's stupid (gay hate crimes). In my opinioun, it does raise awareness, and I think some form of protest is needed, I just don't see a silent one as the way to go.

    Maybe if there was a reading of Shakespears sonnets? Quite a number of them were to men and he's one of the worlds most famous poets.

    It would have been nice to have some factual backing-up of the hate crimes you described in the first paragraph; I personally can't ever recall hearing about a child being killed in school over sexual orientation.

    But otherwise a very strong article; you put across the facts very well.
