What you've said in this article is very true.
I've already given up trying to be "unique" because with approximately 6 billion people on this earth, it's pretty impossible.
I find it so much easier to just be myself.

    I liked this article.
Yes, everyone in unique in their own way. But so many people are trying to be different, they're becoming different from the real them.
It shouldn't be about being different - more about being yourself and not caring if it's different or not.

I'm very happy that you have written down my thoughts on the subject in a way far better than anything I'll ever be to write. I love this article.

So true. I think being unique isn't about following the mainstream or arguing against it. It's doing what you want no matter how lame or popular it is. Like for example: If you wanna listen to Switchblade Symphony, but Your favorite Store is Claire's then, YOU GO GIRL! DO YOUR THING!

This was a well written article.
    I agree with it 100%.
People should just be themselves and try not to be someone they aren't.

Great article, really well written. Everything in that is true and it is funny because you do meet 'emos' that hate labels and hate all mainstream music and say they are unique in that way but its hilarious because they are actually less unique for saying all of that because that is what everyone is doing now. If you're not in group 1 you are in group 2. The only way you are unique is the way you think and believe. Good job!

Ahhhh I love this. I shared the same thoughts. I gave up the whole trying to be 'unique' thing...I just do what I feel and want now. =)

I absolutely agree with this, and have been thinking the same recently.
Everyone is unique, but not why they think and claim.
    Great article, well done =D

I've often thought the same thing.

It is our difference that makes us normal.
It is by standing out that we fit in.
It is the uniqueness we posess that makes us the same as everyone else.

    What are we to do?
