Cardinals and Cubs Rivalry

Since the teams formed, the Cardinals and Cubs baseball teams have had a rivalry that could only be compared to the Montagues and the Capulets. This rivalry makes for interesting games, as well as riled up fans.

With the Cubs not having won a World Series in over a hundred years, the Cardinals were the favorites to win the first rivalry games of the 2014 season, but two deep losses against the cubs lead to an upset.

On May 2, the Cubs were up for most of the game, and the score ended at 6-5 with the win going to the Cubs. On May 3, the Cubs locked down the game with a 3-0 game against the Cardinals.

The Cardinals and Cubs have several more games against one another until the season's finish, and they are sure to be just as interesting as those in the beginning. The question all the Cardinals fans are asking is: will this lead to a World Series win for the cubs? Many answer probably not, but the first few games beg to differ.

No matter what happens with the rival teams, it is sure to be an interesting season for both Cardinals and Cubs fans.
