I don't think so. I love wi-fi and not having acess to it for a week would kill me. I'm not one of those teens who is forever on their cell-phone, but I'm not really an outdoors type who spends every possible second in the wilderness. I'm 14 now, maybe my opionion will change when I'm older.

To answer your question, I really would do it. Why? Because traveling is exciting and the experiences are better than anything you can find on the internet or talking on a phone. Everything becomes tangible that way.
