I looked at Area 51 from Google Earth and I saw a bunch of buildings, a heliport and some planes. Doesn't look very secretive to me...

Government probably tampered with that picture.

Besides, people who work in Area 51 get flew into work by an unmarked plane. They can't just drive there. What's so secretive that they have to actually get on a plane to go to work?

Okay, honestly. I think if there were things there, we wouldn't be keeping it so secret.
There's been so many other things, we've been to the moon and we didn't keep that secret.
I think it's just a bunch of hype and there's something way off of what we thought.
I really don't think there are aliens there.
But, I think there's something important there. We just all want to know what it is.

^ There are people who don't believe the moon landing actually happened because the flag was fluttering, and since there's no atmosphere on the moon, that shouldn't have happened.

And if they did land on the moon, why haven't they been back in the past 40-odd years?

They could very well be trying to divert our attention elsewhere while they get on with something entirely different.

This is all quite fascinating for me, since I'm not from America therefore I'm not too familiar with all this Area 51 shit. I can honestly say that whatever they're hiding, if they're hiding anything at all, they definitely don't want anyone knowing about it - as much as we'd love to know. Which is aggravating.

We have .. something that is kind of similar to Area 51 I guess. It's just like miles and miles of military land where they do training and such. No UFO's or human experimentation but theres a highway going straight through it and it's pretty scary to drive down when theres fucking army tanks going along beside you.

I want to know what's there, but I really doubt it's aliens.

Yet they insist that there's nothing there, when they're the ones who stuck the picture there. :XD They're a little silly... :lmfao

I bet it's something inhumane. Something that most people would frown upon, ie human experimentation (like somebody said), cloning, etc. Or something really exciting, like time travel, that they don't want the other countries to find out about, in case they steal their idea and claim it for their own.

Wouldn't it be funny if Area 51 was just a military training ground enfused with harmful chemicals and mines, and the government was simply trying to keep the public away so they wouldn't get hurt, but the public was too suspicious and defensive of the government, and obviously they're hiding something, and OMG.

Why does it matter?

If they want it to be secret, let's just keep it secret.

Plus, it's really late where I am, and Area 51 gives me the creeps.
