Points

As you probably already know, there are no post counts anymore. They're replaced with "points". Points are based on this idea.

Everyone starts with 100 points and right now you get points only if you write articles, news and reviews (50 points for each article).

Soon you'll be able to get points from other users. For example, someone can give you points for writing a good story, poem or review.

I don't like this idea at all :/ I don't really see the point with it?

I don't really like this Dujo. Not everyone writes articles and with the points from other users thing I'm afraid it could only benefit certain people.

I don't like it.. It's not fair to people who, for instance, prefer the forums, and reading.
And I like seeing post counts.

I'm not really sure I like it either.
Some people get no recognition at all for the things they write.

Some people don't write articles either. I'm more into the creative side - stories. I don't do articles.

I don't even know how to write articles.

Can we at least see what our post counts are? Like...a hidden count?

I've written a few articles and everything, but I much prefer the old system.

And I don't think that a major part of Mibba now (points) should be based purely on something that I know a majority don't write...

Yeah, I think people are overlooking that it's only just articles for now.
If we get a private post count, I'm all good.

At least anyone can make a post. There are some people on Mibba that don't write articles and stuff.

If our true post counts were still up I think I'd feel better.
But post counts are a staple in every forum. It's very odd having a forum without them.

It clearly says that RIGHT NOW you can only get points for articles but soon you'll be able to get points for other things.

People always complain about the drama they bring.
I mean, this has potential for it too, but at least the points will be out of something productive and something that contributes to the site [other than the forums, of course].

Though I admit it would be nice to have both. Maybe hiding your post count can be optional?
