Role-Playing Rules

I do feel mean when I have to remind them constantly about something. I don't mean to nag but it does get so irritating sometimes. I know I make my own share of errors, but I try to hurry and fix them, if I realize i've done it, as fast as I possibly can and hope that no one has noticed! I'm not a good writer myself in my own opinion but I try my hardest to be and to follow rules.

I agree with you guys there, it can get annoying. And then when people don't post in past tense if it states it in the rules or someone has reminded them? That just erks me >.<

You have to remember, that they might not be in the same environment as you or I, they might have some sort of disorder that affects their ability to type and what not. Just you know, something to think about. But if you have reminded them over a dozen times, and they haven't responded telling you they have some sort of an illness, or if they tell you they will try and never do, then that's time to do something. Maybe kick them out of the RP or just let it slide..

I agree with that, I know I have a problem (dyslexia) and I know I do try, I even ask my mom and friends to help me out when ever I can. But sometimes people can't help it, because they might have an illness that stops them...
Or, they might have had what I had all the way through school, being called lazy so they might just act like that because they have started believe it themselves.
But, yet again, they could have done a me and ignored what others were saying.

Role playing is a game, so now I'm changing the rules'. After about 25 threads of development, I think some times people should understand they can't change everything as they wish when there have been people who have been part of that RP from the beggining and like the way it is.

I really hate people that don't care about it. It's like, you're on a writing website! You could be a lot more aware.... You kind of just look really stupid!

Also, I think we should kind of cut down on Closed RP's. We need a lot more open ones, because if you see on the first page, more than half of them are closed. We just need to think of better ideas. I also think that it's kind of rude and sad when someone joins a RP, but then doesn't post. It's like, then what's the point of even making one? I think there needs to be a strict rule on that.

Also, I think when we get new people, not to be mean at all, they should take more time to look at how other people's RP's are done and filled out, etc. etc.

I think a lot of these problems need to be enforced [ I think that's the word... ] better and more... A lot of these things are making a lot of people mad...

^Dujo said that there's going to be a change to how RPing works when New Mibba gets here, so hopefully it'll be less cluttered.

I think clutter will help a lot.

This is a weird question, I'm thinking of stting up a roleplay, but I'm scared it'll be the same as another... and I don't know if that's allowed Is it? I've really wanted to set it up for a while now.

Okay, so I'm quite confused about something here, and I don't know if it has been discussed before.
In one of my open Role Plays, I cannot edit anything on page 50 or before that. The role play is over 200 pages, and I heard something about role plays being locked after 200 pages, so I thought it was something on those lines.
Does anyone know why this is so?

They use to lock role-plays on page 200 but they don't do that anymore.

You can't edit anything on page fifty or before because you have so many pages, and they were from a while ago.

I've been a little MIA for the past couple months. Has anything about splitting the role-play into closed and group role-plays? I mean when New Mibba arrives that is. Because it seems that there are a lot of closed role-plays these days, which is fine. But it's not very fun for those of us who love group role-playing. Just a question.
